@August Gronas I could be wrong, but this bike appears to be a trail/off road bike. The components you cite are more appropriate for street/commuter/cruiser bikes. 625wh keeps battery weight down, and the bike's transmission system allows for manual control of gears for the rider, which would be more responsive to changing conditions. Different components for different purposes.
I agree with you Tom. Very nice bike for enduro and light downhill. To anyone looking to pay less, I believe there’s a similar build for $5,500 from CUBE with lower components and 160mm travel front and rear.
On the subject of wider tires on the rear of cars @25:00, some of it is because of traction on acceleration but also when you lift off the throttle on turns the weight shifts forward you lose rear traction so the wider tires on the rear are to balance that out and help prevent oversteer into corners.
@@Browneye57 lol...I watch videos all the time showing guys on regular mountain bikes bombing down trails at high speed well over 20mph so don't try and fabricated this myth that only ebike riders ride fast. You hate change. Period. The fact that you don't like something doesn't mean we all need to get on board with your dislike. I love ebikes. They are fun. They extend that fun into a full day or longer distances or higher elevations etc. Ebikes also give people the ability to ride as an older person and keep up with the kids or as an injured person with less capabilities to keep up. It's haters like you that need to be educated.
@@mixflip It's not funny, and you're wrong all the way around, and will get pushback from everyone you meet in the ebike world. It's not about class1 bikes, it's about idiots like you that think you need to modify them. YOU will be our undoing. I guarantee it.
@@Browneye57 so you call me an idiot just because I disagree with you? Smh...its people like you that created this whole "karen" problem. We live in America. Land of the free. Riding a bike 25mph is evil? I miss the 70s and 80s when people weren't so soft.
@Robert Brett III we do too. Modifying a C1 to higher speeds on assist is exactly what the anti’s rally on. It’s really short sighted and wrong-headed. This was about ebikes on trails, not downhill or road.
The new kiox 300 on my 160 action team is totally different they used the 300 with the acid make mount it clips into its a much improved design and comes back level sitting on top of the stem and doesn't move or knock about its a massive improvement
Wow!...I'd love to test ride this, once....but this is not the bike for me. I'd be afraid to own it. If i just scratched it I would freak out...this is a rich person's toy....and the"mid-tier" offering from Cube?? I'll stick with my upgraded (hydraulic brakes, new controller with color display and extra battery) Rad Rover, thank you.
The fox dropper is stock it's on my action team but might be different on this 22 model I don't know the new action team is running both 2.4 schwalbe magic mary on front amd big betty on the rear ots a great combo for the cube but the new kiox 300 acid mount is way better than previously
Nice bike, but overkill for the few bridges I need to climb in a otherwise flat country ;) btw: Why there seem to be 1k$ difference in the EU vs the USA?
I know this might be irrelevant but I need help. My battery got stuck in the frame, It won't open and when I turn the key to try to open the battery there is no resistance like it should be. And another thing to note is that at the top of the battery on the right side there is a little gap like if it is not completely clicked in the frame. Any suggestions/solutions I would appreciate?
I was thinking to buy Acid Cube mount for Kiox (it is available in market here in Poland and has an extra upright which is helpful with my 6,5ft) but now I need to think twice before purchase because of this micro usb. Honestly stock Kiox mount is too low (stem mount) however has easy access to micro usb port. Thank You for pointing this :-)
There is a new ebike Magicycle seems get great specs, 750W, 52V battery, torque 86Nm, presale price only at $1099. lookd forward to your review. so far only see one youtuber reviewed the specs. lots of people are expecting.
I agree, there’s a lot of sticker shock comments on here, but this bike is mid level for CUBE’s enduro line and offers food value for the drive system, frame, and components :)
I'd call That that carbon blemish out aswell as having one its not natural never seen it before its not raw carbon cube wouldn't do that as UV severally weakens raw carbon id say that was a defective c62 carbon front triangle
They want 7.3k what a load of BS, for a tad bit more you can buy a proper electric motorbike for that price. You would be a Potato to buy one, well they look like a potato sack on the bike anyway so meh...
Expensive but totally awesome bike! Great review.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :)
@@ElectricBikeReview What kinda petals were those on the more expensive bike??
The technology and build is astounding!

What's the name of that passive dangling bell that you use at 29:20? That would be great for forest trails with low visibility!

$7,000 and it still only goes 20mph. I hope there is a way to unlock off road only mode.
No one wants you speeding over 20 on a trail. Your attitude is THE precise reason there's so much hate for eMTB'S. Please get educated.

An ebike over $7K with a motor that sounds like my radio controlled car. Okayyyy.
30:00 looks pretty sketchy, there. Miss a turn, and it becomes Flight of the Condor
