Brilliant - got little K2 for free thanks to air miles. Had so much use out of little machine. Was starting to think I’d have to pay out some big bucks for replacement tool but all fixed in five minutes.
Most probably it is a standard size ball that you can get from a bicycle repair shop. Take the white part with you and they will find a ball. It will not be sold buy Kärcher as they suppose you will simply buy a new lance!
There's a much easier way to fix it. Take the dirt blaster off, drain any water out and dribble some ordinary oil down the outlet hole. That's it, no dismantling needed.
The karcher is very poorly designed, poorly built and just not worth the money. I have a K4 its about 3 years old and has been nothing but trouble. I would never recommend anything from Karcher.
Short but efective video, explains mecanism. Many thanks.
