wow Shevchenko really surprised me tonight. I knew she would beat andrade but she really surprised me by outmuscling her and stopping her! Shevchenko is a machine no one is beating her in this weight class
She has the best technique of any UFC fighter, man or woman. She looked like GSP with the wrestling tonight. In the post-fight she said she prepares and her body takes over in the cage. As Bruce Lee said, don't think, feel. She is expressing her true self through combat.
Giving her due credit, Andrade is a class act. Not a fan but she was humble in defeat & also seemed to enjoy Valentina's dance & spirit. No one is taking that belt from Valentina

The problem is, she really is a natural 125er, while Nunes is a comfortable 145er who can make 135. While skillwise, Valentina is probably better (I'd say her striking is one of the two best in the UFC together with Adesanya, her TDs have become elite and her ground-game is getting better and better), Nunes' weight and power advantage are probably still too much.

I think no one can really challenge both Valentina and Amanda but to face each other again.
It looks like they are both head and shoulders above their competition, but from a promotion standpoint why would you risk hurting the brand of your champions? If one of them goes on to get injured or retire which can happen suddenly by chance or in the next few years naturally, you'll be without a fighter with the air of invincibility that attracts audiences holding a belt. Without a fighter with that air its hard to build an underdog narrative too. I saw your comment and had the same though you did, but what do you think about the proposition I made?
