for the goal keeper pushing out of the box, think of it like in art when you draw something bigger it looks closer, so the closer he gets to the striker or whoever has the ball his body blocks a bigger % of the goal, so if he stays on the goal line on the left side the entire right side is open, but if he pushes closer his body covers more left and middle so ronaldo has to hit like bottom or top right corner kinda thing. idk if that makes sense but yea i guess you get it, it also pressures him into making a decision faster and if he doesnt the goalie just swoops the ball

There are some people who say he's like wine, he's only getting better, but I disagree... although he's still fantastic, he's slowly losing his speed and agility, which was always his highlight at his peak... but his power finishing and positioning never got worse and that is its biggest difference

@Daily CT 11:17 When one on one it's very easy for a good striker to just pass the ball in the corner and the gk won't get to it if he stays on the line (like he has to on a penalty), especially if not beeing pressured either by a defender or the GK. By rushing out the GK makes the angle a lot smaller and also pressures the attacker to make a move, but usually it should be a goal unless the attacking player screws up. I would recommend watching Peter Schmeichel and Manuel Neuer if you want to see some great one on one GK's, or just great GK's overall.

So siuuu just sounds like that’s what he’s saying, it’s really si (Spanish), or sim (Portuguese), for “yes!!!!” It was a thing started in Real Madrid locker rooms and in training that several players would say on the team and Ronaldo once did the jump celebration without saying siiuuuu (sim), then liked it and shouted siiiiiim the next time and ever since (inside joke amongst Real Madrid teammates).
Keepers rush the player that is usually on a break 1v1 to 1. Give them less time to make a decision/panic the player into hesitating screw up more chance to take ball quicker vs waiting. 2. More importantly when players on a break you rush closer which buts off the angle all of a sudden the net looks smaller to the player on the break , in terms of either side of keeper vs staying in ur net on goal line as scorer approaches there is a ton of room to pick to shoot on either side of keeper like a penalty (geometry try it next time tell someone to rush close and look at net behind him closer u r to the ball less time and space for player to shoot to sides only hope is to dribble round keeper of chip the keeper the latter is hard if keepers too close me. Can shoot u set him if he jumps thinking you’ll chip him/her.
