    If you saw a separate livestream of the rescue operation earlier, you're not imagining it! We started streaming CBC News Network's special coverage to the Thai cave recovery earlier, but due to a technical issue, commercials meant for the TV broadcast made it here. Since that violates TH-cam's broadcasting policy, we removed the previous stream and started this new stream. ^ph

    Wonderful that nations can come together to make great historical events. The sad loss of the Thai Navy seal who came out of retirement to assist, shows just how much of a risk getting these kids out was. It's certainly clear to me that his loss spurred on the whole enterprise to use such tight & dedicated safety precautions in the removal of each child .

    I bet that not a single person from an industrialized nation could have walked barefooted that deep into that cave, with no light or food or water, and then survived barefooted for 17 days, with no toilet paper or internet, or tv or smartphone. These boys were tough as alligators. They need to rename their football team. The Quarantine is not the problem. They just need to test the cave soil, the air and do a microbiology study of the cave, for for things like radon, CO2. Highly unlikely anything would be that deep in the cave that could hurt them. Another thing not being reported is these caves are far different from caves in the U.S.A., especially Canada. These boys walked the entire way to where they got mostly walking uphill, ( not down into the Earth ). The water in these caves may not flow out of the cave, but filter into cracks feeding the aquifer beneath the rice fields. In fact the Thai authorities considered drilling into the bedrock of the rice-fields and installing enormous pumps to pump then entire aquifer.

    It is interesting looking at the graphics showing how the children were supposedly brought out knowing now that it isn’t how it happened. Only one diver and they were unconscious

    I think since they now have 4 boys out alive they know about how long it will take and all the equipment they will need like oxygen etc and what and where 2 place the equipment and to add extra jus in case something goes wrong or takes a lil longer with some so they are well prepared and they are gearing up and probably working on the parts the 4 had the most trouble with to make it easier and possibly gearing up to get the rest out when they restart getting them so they dont have stop again and wait to go back in and get the ones they will have to leave. I really think they are going back this time to get everyone out without having to leave anyone behind again.

    Sorry for that Thai Authority that should have International explaination because many countries involve of helping the youngsters. Thai Authorithy should have respected the international help and they should be informed in English. It's not only the Thais to help but international as well. Thank you for international help but also wish to apologize that the authorithy didn't realize about this.

      It is a tourist attraction, and the rains came between 2 weeks and a Month earlier than usual. It is was just bad luck. If anyone should be blamed, it is the authorities for not closing the cave down when the weather forecast heavy rain.

    • @cherrytraveller5915
      @cherrytraveller5915 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is a tourist cave. When they entered it had been a nice day but what they didn’t know was it had rained heavily the night before and I think it was a week before that. The weather changed while they were in there and with the ground already soaking it filled the cave fast. I gather they ended up so far in as they kept moving to get above the water. This cave was known for flooding during monsoon season. However having said that a cave expert was due to make a trip into the cave just a week after the boys originally entered the cave. It was just truly bad luck that happened to them. They were only following a tradition of going into the cave to write their name on a wall like that had for years before. It just went wrong this time

    I am amused that at 1:17:10 the reporter states that the reason the operation was stopped at the end of the first day was that the divers were out of oxygen. The reason the operation was stopped at the end of the first day was that the divers had spent 10 hours in exhausting work diving into the cave and then carrying the boys out and needed time to recuperate before they did the same thing on the second day and the third day. It was not a matter of being out of oxygen but proper resource planning so as not to exhaust the divers. The reporter keeps repeating his report about the rescue being stopped because the oxygen ran out. Stupidity at CBC knows no bounds.

      Bishnu Kanti Dey because rain is continuing to fall. Monsoon season. If they try to remove the water it's just going to fill right back up again and waste time those boys may not have.

      Rebel Channel Without a Cause um yes they cleary have said and wrote why they went in there and why they are so deep. They went in because it was like a initiation 2 go to the back of the cave and sign there name and when they went in it started raining very heavily and flooded the way out and water kept rising and moving in on them so they had to find high ground bc its monsoon season and flooded cave quicly forcing them.

    • @GemyniMoodJuice
      @GemyniMoodJuice 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Troy Lee Newgent LMAO the coaches bright idea to take 12 kids 6 miles deep into a cave at the start of monsoon season. And 12 sets of parents who also agreed this was a good idea. W... T... F... Were these adults thinking?!

    • @xxyy4744
      @xxyy4744 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      you dont understand. they were not deep inside the cave. they were at the entrance. when it started flooding it was too late to get out so they went further inside. Anyway, if you have been to thailand, you would know that caves are very common and part of daily life. its like going to the park

    • @keiraeleazar2698
      @keiraeleazar2698 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rebel Channel Without a Cause the kids told their parents that they are going to soccer/football practice but instead they went into the cave

    • @GemyniMoodJuice
      @GemyniMoodJuice 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      rare pepe according to my first replier Trot, they purposely went to the back of the cave because it was an initiation to write your name at the back of the cave. Even of this isn't true, and your version is correct, that they were at the entrance and got rained in. This is still NO excuse! The adults failed these kids. Of you know it's the monsoon season, WTF would you take 12 kids I to Any cave!? For any reason!
