Sega Saturn Primal Rage Fatalities

- So, I recently got a hold of the Sega Saturn version of Primal Rage. After a few days of trying to get these fatalities recorded (a few were giving me trouble. Most notably, Chaos' Churl.) I am now uploading them for you to see.
Please note that Blizzard's redemption fatality does show the opponent's dead body rising into the sky. Stupid Windows movie maker just was being a 30 FPS asshole and Dazzle doesn't like flashing sprites either. There's also an odd camera glitch with Blizzard's Brain bash but it's not very big.
As for the Sega Saturn port itself:
The Good:
- Better loading times than the PS1 version
-NO ANIMATION PROBLEMS! ^_^
-fast and complete frames of animations.
-Music tracks that are not in or not used in the PS1 version are in the Saturn version.
-Redbook audio soundtrack so you can pop the disc into your CD player and listen to the music! (track 1 is the data track. Track 2 and after are the music tracks.)
- one of Chaos' death noises plays
-Sauron's Grape Crush shows parts of the opponent's body like in the arcade.
-AI closer to Arcade version. Fewer exploits to take advantage of than the PS1 version's.
and now, the bad:
-No combo names
-missing sound effects.
-Blizzard's death and win sounds are still mixed up like in the PS1 version.
-During the final battle, skeletons disappear instead of staying when an opponent is defeated.
-Chaos' other death noise that plays when he hits the ground is missing - บันเทิง
Some of these fatalities are really scary and disturbing!
I loved Sauron, Talon, and Vertigo.

I actually put a list of differences in the description if you're interested. There are a few things the PS1 version has that the Saturn version lacks. Those are listed in the description as well. ;)

Sorry for the belated reply, just figured out how to view video comments today. anyway, There's actually a way to make it rain cows in Primal Rage.
I remember that on one of the versions, when Chaos would "take a swim", he'd end up turning the water green, as in he is so filthy, he ruined the water supply.
I got the genesis and the PS1 version of this, the genesis lacking the 3rd finishing move of the characters. The PS1 includes these, but lacks the after-fatality music.
I can also say that the only fatality I never pulled off was the brain bash from Blizzard.

The Arcade version is still the best if you happen to find it on original hardware. While close to the original arcade version, the Saturn version does have its share of problems, just like the other ports.
As for Midway Arcade Treasures on Gamecube, XBOX, and PS2, it's essentially an emulated version of the original arcade version. However, the emulation has problems as well due to the ROM's heavy encryption. This also happens on MAME emulator as well.

I have fond memories of the genesis version, eventhough it has the lousiest music and graphics (but not animation). Did the original author's of the game put the source code for the game online (Ravensoft has done this with some of their titles.)?
The PC DOS version is another one that's pretty close, music aside. Especially if you get a gamepad for it and get it going in DOSBox.
Well technically there's three. Though two are greenish with different colored sprites. The other is his default orange.
Oh My God, Armadon is my favorite character for Primal Rage, and I could not do the fatalities on this game!

I'm debating which is the best version - the Sega Saturn or the original arcade. Does anyone know if the gamecube version is a port?
The only GameCube version I am aware of is on Midway Arcade Treasures 2. It’s the emulated arcade version, but since they were not able to crack the obscure encryption on the Rome, it’s not Arcade perfect.
Tbh I like the Saturn version, the arcade is obviously the best but unless you buy a $600 board you have to play it emulated with the encryption problems, same as the midway treature versions of the game.
Odd the saturn version decided to have a fatality theme as such.

It's supposed to have the opponent's spirit go to heaven. Due Dazzle capture not liking flashing objects that go at 60FPS though, the spirit didn't render.
Say, was this done with an emulator or direct capture from the console? If emulator, is it SFF, Mednafen, or Yabause?

Chaos probably just does that because hes the God of decay which means theres nothing else to do but make em rot. Chaos is one of my fav because of the special moves. My most fav Armadon and Diablo
Yeah, he's one of my favorites too. I love Diablo a lot though (mostly because of how good with him I am in the Genesis/Mega Drive version of the game) I kinda suck with Armadon but I still like him.

tbh, I dunno. I think the creators just wanted Chaos to be a ridiculous as possible
Please tell me how to perform Blizzard's Redemption fatality. The "Hold all face buttons and press Down, Toward, Up, Down, Up" version on the Primal Rage wiki doesn't work, and neither does the "Away x5" version from the Midway collection. I'm playing the Playstation version, but the controls for performing moves should be the same on both Playstation and Saturn.
Its: Down, Away, Up, Down, Up Hold All Buttons.
