    Video is "very" well done. Preview of features, direct/to the point and informative enough for someone to make a decision on whether or not to invest in the equipment. All done in 15min. Heck, now I want to or believe I can, create and compose music. "Great" job!

  • @zoltar8470

    Thank you. Your style is rather quirky but it’s easy to understand your tutorials. On the Push 2, sometime a lot of my library doesn’t show up in my browser. I’m not sure what I’m doing to cause this. Is there a fix?

    • @lootcorp
      @lootcorp 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure if this is the same issue, but I just encountered something similar. The issue was I was trying to browse for a sample to add to an audio track, apparently your sample library will only show everything when adding to a MIDI track. So try adding a Simpler to a track and then browse your library, maybe that will fix your problem!

    Hi, just purchased my Push 2 and I immediately checked out if you did some tutorials (and you did - a lot!!) this one was super useful and helpful to have a complete overview of the device!! Just a little question: how do I switch from 4th to 3th or sequent in scale mode? I can't find a button or a combination of buttons that allows me to change the layout... Thanks so much for all these amazing contents, your channel is awesome!!

    • @LNADoesAudioStuff

  • @oldowl4290

    My biggest question about the Push is what sets it apart from just using something like the Launchpad Pro along with a display/monitor and PC (or laptop). I mean if you have to hook it up to Ableton anyway and take your laptop to a gig, it just seems like this is hardware that's overkill and or can be replaced with stuff that's, in general, 75% cheaper. I'm obviously not that familiar with it, but what makes it so special or a "must have" piece of gear if you are an Ableton user?

    • @LNADoesAudioStuff
      @LNADoesAudioStuff  ปีที่แล้ว

      The biggest difference is that it is literally a physical version of Live. So it is mostly automatically mapped and it can do a lot more than other controllers can.

    New to the Push 2, coming from the Launchpad Pro MK3, its really too bad there is no CHORD MODE, that thing is the cats meow. Is there a workaround for that, besides adding a chord effect to the track

  • @willhurt3446
    @willhurt3446 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great intro vid. I love and would like to make experimental noise, drone, film score, and IDM music. Is it possible to pay live shows wirh just laptop and push 2? I have yet to see anybody do this-not a single video.

  • @djellisdee
    @djellisdee ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi LNA, is it possible to combine both Push 2 and a Novation Launch Control XL to control an Ableton Live set in Session View? So for example, use the Push 2 to control the scenes, moving up/down in the Session View, triggering each sample with the buttons etc. as you showed in your video. At the same time, can Novation Launch Control XL be used to control the Sends and Returns, and the Pans, and the Volume faders on each track? Assume 8 columns across for the tracks since both Push 2 and Launch Control XL are setup with 8 channels (columns) across their respective MIDI controller. I am just curious if you have seen or experimented with this type of MIDI controller setup for an Ableton Live set.
    As a side note, I have been able to get the Push 2 or the Novation Launch Control XL to play a Live Session (using just one controller at a time), but so far I have not been able to figure out if/how they can work together in parallel at the same time.

    You’re an awesome 😎 TH-cam channel. Usually the songs on an album are the result of an artist's creations during a season of life. This means the songs can all speak to a similar set of themes, ideas and topics. So the aim of an album name is to try and sum up the big story/concept that all the songs pull from when they were written. It's not always like these, especially today. But traditionally, an album is like a "book" with the songs inside being like "chapters." Fun stuff! (I think 🤓) would you agree with what Nathan eswine said about why studio album 💿 are viewed as a big story LNA?
