Jeremy my husband is a firefighter and he said to find out if it's got aluminum wire in any of your houses if it does it needs to be taken out cuz that is what what is causing the trouble

Thank God George is ok. The Thermostat may be defective if not you may want to check the Electrical wiring in your wall/walls. I turn everything off except the refrigerator when I'm gone a few days or a couple of weeks. One can't be to sure especially with the rain storms out here in Florida.

Geremy, when hanging pictures with a wire. Hammer the nail into the wall then place the nail between the tines of the fork with the handle up, put your wire over the fork handle then remove the fork. Jeorge you are so lucky to have a man that fixes things for you. Love you guys!

Wow fires are scary i have lost 3 houses in my life from fires and a month ago my best friends apartment burned down and they lost everything except the clothes they were wearing and also lost a dog God was definitely protecting your house that day Glad to see George feeling better
They eat ticks and aren't rabid possums are great!
They will kill Chickens. I know from experience. So will Raccoons.

The grounds are beautiful with the trees full of leaves and the sunlight filtering through.
Possums are good to have around, they don't get rabies and kill tons of bugs. They never attack unless you put your hand in their face. I raised one from a newborn and he grew huge and never bit me or even tried.

I've got a large clock too on my wall , the only thing that I haven't replaced is the hands on the clock it doesn't have any. For John and I time doesn't exist we are retired and go at the spur of the moment anywhere. Love the Hales sign it's really nice.

Glad to know you have possums there. They are very helpful. Fires are scary. We had two electric plug outlets that looked black like that. We discovered that every outlet in the house was wired incorrectly. That at least was easy to rewire before our house caught fire. You might want to check yours.

Great job with the decorations! Have you thought about getting Premiere One electric fencing? They have solar panels for charging the fence. It would keep the chickens in and safe from predators. God bless both of you.

Jeorge, we have had this journey of kicking cancer together. you had kidney problems, I had bladder problems, you had breast cancer, I did too. Your thyroid had to be removed, mine was a goider the size of a baseball, that had to be removed. the only difference, I lost ALL my hair, from my head to my toes-=yes. Gerame my toes.🦶 but I have prayed for you, and I will continue praying for you and that your health. I love how you express your love to each other and how it glows. Both of you keeps me laughing even on the days that my smiles are few between. THANK YOU 💖

My husband is a 20+year vet in the HVAC industry. He says the fire being just right there is probably the result of a power surge shooting back through the line, causing 120v to blow through that and fry the electronics. It is something he has seen before.

Hey George with a J. You can also ferment the watermelon rind in salt brine and eat it in casseroles or recipes. I peel the watermelon and throw the peelings in my garden for mulch (along with potato peels, sweet potato peels, all veggie scraps…..) and then I ferment the green peeled rind. It kinda tastes sour. It is very tasty.
My Mom always made watermelon rind sweet pickles. So delicious!
We feed the watermelon rinds to the neighbors horses and donkeys
Yes the bluish green would be great. By the way... If you plant butterfly bushes, they will attract butterflies to your garden. Also, hang some hummingbird feeders and if you want to attract deer, consider putting A salt lick.

So grateful the wiring didn't completely catch fire! My parents had friends that the wiring in the walls caught fire in the kitchen, no flames seen but heat melted the hinges and handles. My Dad had electric inspection of the whe house bc scared my Mom.

I saw the burned thermostat. To help get rid of the smell and clean the soot off the wall before you paint it use simple green. My house cought fire three years ago and we used it in gallon jugs and it works. You can even use it on burnt laundry to get out the smell. It's a great product. Walmart in the automotive section and home Depot if you want it in gallon jugs.
