I gotta agree, Clemson is a great school that produces some amazing talent in the NFL. Lawrence will be the next I feel. However as a buckeye fan I am still salty about both the fumble being overturned and the BS targeting call on a player 6-8 inches shorter than the guy he was trying to tackle lol. But cant put all the blame on those two plays. Buckeyes should have finished their drives more and shouldnt have gone into clock management mode so early. Was a fantastic game and good luck to them in the championship
im a broncos fan but i don't think Drew is in that level yet, no disrespect to my boy tho, it's just he got so much more to proof still if he wanna be named alongside young heavy hitters like Deshaun, Pat and Lamar. I think he's in a category with players like Kyler Murray and Baker Mayfield where they have the potential to be an all time great, but still has a lot to proove while the other three are just no doubt in a level of their own.
Bima Suharta They’re all AFC qbs too. Three (maybe 4 if Drew Lock becomes great) young, amazing quarterbacks who are all at least pretty mobile and make mind blowing plays. This is the future of the nfl
Everybody saying that second hit helped him stay up he had already spun out of that first tackle before he got that second hit but regardless it takes incredible strength balance to do that
Knew he was great from his very first throw at Clemson against Georgia. Go watch it. I remember saying this kid is gonna take us to the next level. So happy for all the success he is having in the NFL.
Yup but it was a team effort, they stepped up as a team, and won the game, amazing play by DW4, i thought they were finished a mean being down 16-0 and playing horrible, but JJ Watt came in clutch with the sack and that gave them the momentum
It's the most underrated play of the year. Without that sack, whether the BIlls scored 6 or not, there would have been no momentum shift, no momentum shift would mean no comeback. No comeback means no overtime and no overtime means that there wouldn't have been a chance for Watson to do that. Hats off to JJ and to Deshaun. JJ deserves much more credit than he's getting though.
When the Ravens beat the Texans ya'll beat Bill O'Brien not what this Team should be. If the Texans had a coaching staff as good as Raven that game would have been way better. Not saying Texans would have won just would have been better.
As a Bills fan, this makes me sick. That play killed us. I knew we were dead as soon as he got free and completed that pass. Ugh. I haven't felt that bad since the Music City Miracle.
First tackler knocked him down but into the other tackler who hit him back up to allow him to stay on his feet and escape. Amazing balance and determination. DeShaun is the man.
2 people hitting Watson literally helped him, the first hit would've knocked him over but the second hit, hit up back up and spun him around. Incredible play by chance
Seeing that loss as a Bills fan at the age of 13, I cried after that game. We had a good year. And the Texans and Pats both lost in the playoffs. Sweet revenge.
When I watched this play I immediately thought of Russell Wilson he does things like this all the time tbh obviously it was cool big fan of Deshaun Watson.
I said the exact same thing when I saw this live. The second defender stood him up and gave him the spin. If you slow it down Watson was half way to the ground Still an amazing play tho!!
I’ma bills fan on that play in overtime I was like “Yes yes! He’s gonna get sacked! NOOOOO! Micha Tackle him! NOOOOO MICHA YOU MISSED HIM! TRE GET HIM!!! YOU MISSED TOO! TREMAINE THANK YOU!
Maxime Not really he just has great agility this is not the 1st or 2nd time he's done this. Did it against Seattle, Raiders, Eagles, and now Bills I think I left off a team or two. The kid is just phenomenal. If you followed him you've seen it since High school.
I’m not a fan of either team but I don’t understand how people think it’s crazy how he got out. Like it’s just him being hit forward then being hit back upright. Watson is amazing but I mean it’s just physics
Now that my Ravens are gone I wanna see DWatson against a former Belichick henchmen. Derek Henry is like a mixture of Eddie George and Earl Campbell. Deshaun is Prime Donovan McNabb and The Eagles version of Mike Vick
Looking at the behind-the-qb POV it looked like the bills players both canceled each other’s momentum in bringing him down. Homie literally could just stand up during the hits.
Ok, this play is amazing but I want to point something out.Alright so basically one defender hit deshaun which sent him falling, but the other defender basically hit him from the other side which kind of "knocked " him back up. Here is what happened with text thingies. The line is Watson and the arrows are defenders. They basically hit him so he stayed up right. -> |
I am a Texans fan, but hear me out. This was amazing play! But was it produced because of the soft rules against qb's in the pocket? If you could smash qb's brains out, would he been able to escape? As a defensive minded guy, with not so soft rules against qb's this could have been the defensive play of the game, but because players are afraid to hit the qb, and tryed to spin him down, he escaped. But that is how the rules go, at the end, I am happy with the result.
Seriously man. I LOVE football. It is disappointing to see how it turned from a contact sport to a two hand touch sport. (OK maybe that's a stretch but you get my point) Hopefully XFL can feed the fans what we have been craving. Some old school badass football.
That play was simple physics, opposite forces balancing each other out. It was also a sign of selfishness from those two bills players, had one wait a millisecond to tackle Watson would have been an easy shared sack. But nonetheless Watson is an amazing player.
He showed great balance but I think he only stayed up because he was pushed into the second tackler, who got there a split second after the first, and kind of bounced off him. Funnily enough, I think if only one tackler had got to him he would’ve been sacked.

Yep
?????? It was also a team effort and every player believed with their heart ❤️ that’s what makes you a winner in the world.

Crazy play. Crazy player.
It was great, but lets not forget the sack by watt on 3rd & 8 on our goal line.
