Good to see you again buddy! I remember back in the day when you and I discovered the blood hunters in aegis and ran them long before codex's and everything - then a lot of people jumped on them lol. Glad to see you making videos!
@@silversprout8974 thank you for your reply! :) and since I'm a newbie, what are the most important stats and levels of the pet stats you use in the video?
@@andreaghezzi7987 all you need is attack speed and spell damage with all of those pets. I also like hits to be positive so they can take a few more hits from mobs, but it's not necessary.
The Phoenix is great, too. But I find the smaller mages much easier to run because of the massive healing bonuses from using menagerie and swarm. The volt wisp is part of the utility class so it isn't amazing, somewhere about 20% less DMG than the attack class mages.
What is the point of archery? It used to be Disarm I would argue, but Disarm now "only" increases followers Melee damage (your pets does no melee damage), and increases the accuracy against the disarmed target, but caster pets have 100% accuracy, so to speak.
Hinder. It stops the mob from attacking which for had hitting mobs, is nice. plus archery gives you accuracy from the codex and keeps you at range to avoid aoe.
@@Sta5is I see. I think I prefer bless with its +5 attack speed and +5 damage, giving the pets 10% more damage, and okey, yes I will have to heal, but a mage can do that. Could also cast mana drain to lower magic resist, but I'm not even sure how much that would help
archery hinders which prevents the foe from doing anything. it helps a lot for reducing dmg taken and healing needed. archery is the most versatile and safe of the combat skills imo. you can always be attacking since it's at range and in case you want to run melee pets the disarm helps with their accuracy and dmg.
could i do this as a new player with my first character, using this to farm for my aspects/codex/ect, or would i need to get my skills from 100 to 120?
I don't run any scripts, just hotkeys or one line macros for commands, herding, vet kits, etc. My macros are: dclick vet kit dclick shepherds crook The rest are preset razor hotkeys in the razor menu
@@spacemafia you can run any aspect for the weapon and armor with this build, depending on which benefits you want. Command armor will be the highest DPS, fortune armor will give the most XP and fastest gold accumulation and water armor is the tankiest for the player considering the increased hinder chance for archery, bonus healing and alchemy skill. I've found the weapon aspect choice doesn't make much of a difference for overall DPS
Glad to see you back. The Aegis Huntsman takes on Aegis once again!

Looks like a great build. Will have to give that a try. thanks!
Nice video! What weapon and armour do you use?
thanks 😊 I'm using an exceptional bow and shadow chainmail armor. you could alternatively use a crossbow for easy potion use which I do sometimes

@@andreaghezzi7987 oh, and the pets i am using are mostly 9.5-10% dmg and 4.0% speed or higher. although one of my pets is just 1.2% speed.
Crushin it. Just building up a mage tamer now, switched from fencer dexxing. Might just go to archery now 😅
How does this comp compare to phoenix or maybe volt wisp for more hinders?

Absolutely, just use the attack mage pets that are 100 taming or lower.
@@silversprout8974 k im gonna do it. like a whirlpool this build sucked me in.
@@kiljaedyn it's the most fun I've had of any build so far. The range, the power, the utility of vet kits, so fun!

Any chance you could link the script you are using in this run?

nice
t14 command aspect ok :D this is almost imps. for new players D:
it's very good with fortune and water as well. water gives a lot more hinders which makes for a very easy farming trip with archery
@@silversprout8974 thanks for advice tho ! im gonna try it :D
