- UPDATE: Much has happened since releasing the Harvest House documentary! Cal Maskery is no longer in any leadership position and his band of predators who were on staff are all gone. This documentary has served it’s purpose and does not reflect the current Harvest House as of 2023. Cal , resigned his position and moved on to starting another ministry called ShekinahGo, a cult-like group which he continues to operate in the same way that he did when he led the Harvest House.While Cal publicly he left on good terms, it’s a well known truth that behind the scenes he had absolutely no choice but to go, along with his disgusting "staff" who deeply harmed those who went to the Harvest House for help. As you know, instead of help, the clients of the HH were manipulated, abused and exploited. Now, without Cal Maskery at the helm, the Harvest House has new leadership and new staff and continues to make positive changes in the right direction with it's leaders in place. It will still have it's issues just as any organization will but the issues raised in the documentary in no way reflect the Harvest House post-Cal Maskery. Today's Harvest House requires vulnerable persons checks, criminal record checks, etc. In short, everything is done ethically and transparently and the types of people (sexual predators, convicted child abusers, etc) that Cal once had as his staff don't have a chance with the current HH of being in positions of authority. Thank you all for your amazing support! While the documentary and all of those in it were relentlessly attacked by those who didn't want the truths in the documentary revealed, the final outcome made it worth it all! The vulnerable who go there are now provided safety and hope.

Moncton's Harvest House Atlantic, founded by Cal Maskery, has come under fire as former staff, volunteers and the homeless have united to speak out against the Harvest House's many abuses. This organisation, while outwardly appearing compassionate and caring for the poor and addicted, is inwardly chaotic. Are you aware that Cal Maskery hired a convicted child molester at the Glace Bay Harvest House? Are you aware that he hired a convicted child abuser at the Moncton location? Are you aware that staff sexually harassed female clients and that Cal Maskery covered it up, admitting he knew of sexual harassment for a year before taking action? Are you aware that donations have gone missing? Are you aware that the homeless were deliberately poisoned? These issues and others are dealt with in our 1 and a half hour investigative documentary (link above).
The Harvest House claims that the allegations brought against it are either minor or are only "half truths". They want you to believe that they're open, honest and transparent with the public and their donors. Nothing could be further from the truth as we show in the film. They speak of love, mercy and forgiveness yet behind the scenes they've attacked the film relentlessly, lied about those involved in it and continue to harass and malign with each opportunity they get. They've posted on social media, tried posting in the comments sections on our videos... they've tried and continue to try their best to keep their corruption hidden. It hasn't worked ... and it will never work. The Harvest House is a cult; it's anything BUT loving and compassionate.
Our producers met with Cal Maskery and a Harvest House Board Member for two hours in which Mr. Maskery stated he would not back down from his hiring practices and refused to apologise for anything. He stood firm and wouldn't acknowledge a single wrongdoing; not once. Nothing was admitted and no apologies were forthcoming. In fact, he attacked the characters of various individuals while protecting the sexually deviant staff members he hired. We were utterly shocked and certainly disappointed in Mr. Cal Maskery's position.
Our goal is not and never has been to destroy the Harvest House. Our position is that we would like to see change - tangible change - come to this organization where people are treated with genuine concern, respect and dignity. Nothing less; nothing more. While the Harvest House leadership continues to deny, deny and deny some more, we hold out hope that there's still a chance to change.
