the 1st one's "con" is relevant to all the three presented phonograph record players, including the last one from technics- 3:02 "can't dj with this", for the reason that no one of this triple has a pitch adjustment control
Carbon Pro or X1 Sound better Than the Evo. Thema cartridge of the Technics is underwhelming change to ML needle would fix it. Planar 2 has a good arm but needs better stability in platter and Motor so would Go for planar 3. Dual 529 or Thorens 402D are missing.
There are good reasons why all high end turntables are belt driven. Unless you are a DJ or fancy yourself as one, there is absolutely no reason to buy a direct drive turntable.
Many of these so called "high quality" no feature slab turntables are grossly over priced and over rated, some cost hundreds or more and expect you to accept the idea that having to manually swap a belt to change speeds is acceptable and even normal. Hell I had hundred dollar turntables that had a speed selector, and theres NO REASON some of these over priced rigs cant do the same --
All 3 are great turntables, I will buy the technic all because auto lift when record is finished ❤
The video clips for the Pro-ject are showing a mix of the Debut Carbon Evo and the Debut Pro which will be confusing for some viewers.
The Pro-ject Debut Carbon PRO and the X1 are both under 1000 bucks AND better than the EVO.. Which isn't bad tho, especially for the price.
Funny those modern turntable wobble like crazy. My philips direct control 877 from 1978 has almost no wobbling and sounds amazing.
They don’t wobble. Any wobbling in these video clips are because of poor record pressings.
Wobble, bobbleoble.
Where is Pro-Ject Debut Pro, X1 and Nad C588 ?
They are definitely up there also. We will make another update video.
@@top_in_tech Also include the MoFi Studiodeck in a video.

I like the straight tone arm May not be better sonically but hate the look of s shaped tone arms why technics can't put one on their top TT s
32 RPM? It should be 33.3
Very nice 👍 but not available our market

Psychobabble

And yet the best is missing. PLX 1000.

I think most of the value stuff is built in China now
It’s certainly expensive making stuff here in the Uk but I agree you should get speed control on a button. Rega should make a mini version
Also i had to take a nice old Rotel to the dump because the inbuilt speed control went wrong and we couldn’t fix it
Irrelevent Chinese mumbo-jumbo
