I'm not interested in boats at all. By some weird twist of TH-cam recommended I saw one of your videos, never missed a video from that day on. Absolutely love your passion and presentation style. Would be nice if the price is in the title though, that way I know by what order of magnitude I'm not able to afford the boat. Definitely keep going, loving your content.

I live in New Zealand and was born and raised in Auckland, which is also often called "The City of Sails" because of all the yachts on our beautiful harbour. As a result I have been fortunate to have been on many yachts, even though I don't know the first thing about sailing them. I've always been there as a guest, apart from one time when I was cruising around the Greek Islands in a yacht in my capacity as Nanny to two children. I was based in London during the year I was Nannying. That was a beautiful yacht when we went to Greece. I just love your channel Nick and I keep finding that I am coming back to view more and more of your yachts (and your motor homes, which are also a big thing here in New Zealand). I will just give one criticism about this particular yacht and that is that I would feel extremely claustrophobic in the crew quarters. If I owned this particular yacht I don't think I could bring myself to expect anyone to sleep there. How do others feel about the crew area here?
This is my dream boat for the UK use, just hits the spot love it!

Ive never been on a Yacht, I probably never will be on a Yacht, but man, the way Nick delivers the tour is just so compelling.
He is like the toned down more classy version of Robin Leach from that old TV show "Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous"
Such passion & great subtle details you learn about the boats.Nick knows ALOT about these majestic vessels, & it's always interesting to hear his comments.
By far the best presenter so far I've seen. I feel like I see every inch of the yatchs. I highly recommend you do other channels for Vehicles, Properties and anything in between.

This is still a bit out of my brice range right now, but this is the kind of boat that I would love day. Something big enough to put my bicycle and my scuba dive gear in, with tanks and a compressor, with the ability to sleep overnight if needed, and have guests ,but is still small enough that I could operate and manage it, and fast enough to have fun.

Definitely love the open feel. Opening everything suddenly makes the main deck feel like a slightly more enclosed fly bridge. Definitely would be a first pick if I won the lottery

Love this Sunseeker, the layout is fantastic for its size and the little nooks give it character as well as function. The only issue I noticed was in the galley, if you were cooking and stepped back just a little too far, you may end up falling down the stair to the master!
You'd need to go backwards, and then go left, but I take your point. It's the nature of boats, at least under 130ft, that there will always be small compromises at least.
I know nothing about boats and have little interest in them. But something about your videos is so engaging. Have seen all of them now and will continue to watch! great stuff

Absolutely in love with this boat, wow, packs a punch way above its weight (size), so versatile, lovely flow through the various areas - this should surely win some awards - what a stunner.
Discovered this channel recently, been watching all the videos since, and have been watching lots of other boat tours, but none of them are as in-depth and consistent as yours. Personally, I think I'd prefer a Nordhavn 60 with modern furnishings, not the classic wooden boat furnishing style you find in older Nordhavn's, instead of this, but ofc, I have to win the lottery first

You stated there was room for a tender in the Garage, but there was pull out hatch and seat.
The whole centre transom section lifts to access the garage.
Wow Sunseeker stepping up to Italian design levels, looking very smart.
Do not get carried away with Italian design unless you are a midget. The crew quarters are abysmal. Just saying as all boat builders need to provide better skipper (crew) quarters.

Nice job Sunseeker but also nice job Nick I would say! As always a joy to watch your videos. This boat is all I'd ever need from a boat. Would be interesting to hear in your future videos about running costs of owning such boats. With pre-owned boat prices not being as scary as buying brand new I think a lot of people find that interesting.

This must be constructed using some sort of flexible material that permits a 57' boat dockside, to become a full, proper yacht whilst onboard. Very clever. Very roomy AND comfy. I love it!

Nice boat, as always with sunseeker. But I prefer the flybridge boats with aft galley. They're more practical and I like the extra entertaining space. Great video all the same.
Love your channel Nick, always had a passing interest in boats, particularly when I was in St Tropez on my motorbike in about 2002, remember being quite taken by a Mangusta 108, I have to say this Sunseeker seems a fabulous boat, lovely size and specced beautifully. Be nice to get a Mangusta on the channel, keep the videos coming...top job👍

It doubles as a morgue :) without the plastic and the big bag it's probably ok. If there is internet no big deal. To me it seems more strange to have a stranger on board 24/7. Some stranger sitting at the helm all the time. I guess I'm not used to servants but that aspect of yachting doesn't appeal to me. Say I rented a 60 in the med, for the same price I'd much prefer without crew.
The galley below however means I wouldn't pick this boat. At 57 feet it should have proper main deck.
@@DanFrederiksen "At 57 feet it should have proper main deck." For you it may not be "proper," the same as others think crew is proper (agreed not on this boat - but others, yes). In this size range had you never realised that an aft galley or mid on main deck comes with smaller sink, smaller cook top, smaller fridge / freezer? And all of that is AOK if you want a weekender boat, that you can load and sleep below in bigger cabin area, however if you want to be gone for a couple weeks or more, you will appreciate the proper (for that) sized appliances of a galley below deck. In this size range there are often many possibilities in layout that could be either of these two variations. I think you meant "different layout" as opposed to "proper."
@@Dobermanator of course there is an element of preference in it but other than presumption of majority vote in my favor, if you look to bigger and bigger boats, they very rarely stove the galley 'below' deck. Is it something lesser boats tend to do out of necessity. A further and I think important point, the aft of the boat has a low utility sun bed part and a large outdoor sitting area. Plus a slanted back. It would take very little of that to extend the lounge/saloon to include a galley at least as spacious as the one below. You'll notice the helm side of the lounge has rather low utility. Some might like this oversize speedboat feel to it at 1.6m$ but can't help think that slight rearrangement would sell 10x more. It could still have the slide roof and no fly. It's fine to have variation and I'm not saying this config is a complete misfire, I could live with it. But I can also assure you that if I had to pay the 1.6 I would never pick this over the terrasse seating, kitchen and living room cosy trifecta. The same is done in homes with open layout kitchen connected to dining area. A house with a kitchen in the basement would make miss piggys out of women :)
@@Dobermanator and a follow up. I just became aware of how effective use of space Princess yachts manages. Check out the Princess 52 (not V52), supposedly a much smaller boat but wow. It's so popular that a 6 year old boat sells for about new price. That's crazy. The newer Princess F55 with white interior just slays this supposed predator and it's cheaper.
The position office Tv will slightly work for the lounge and the outdoor lounge... Princess 55 has it spot on
I raced her up the Solent back from Yarmouth when she was in Ocean Village for the Sunseeker pop-up in March on a lovely sunny day. Think she can just push over the 30 knots (I was doing 35-36 and only just inching ahead). Lovely yacht
She can indeed - Sunseeker say 32 knots max for this model.

That is a super boat, I love to BBQ so having two is excellent (if not slightly OTT), love these reviews and relaxed total view of these boats well done. Not sure about the crew ‘room’ unless you are from the C18
Thanks Damo. I think the crew space is more about using the space for very occasional use. It's very small, but it's another great facility for a sub 60ft sports cruiser.
Nice retractable roof.
It works really well and with the retractable aft bulkhead it transforms the deck saloon into an open cockpit brilliantly!

The level of tech and adaptability in these new boats is fantastic. Really makes the boats versatile. Just wondering though, 5 to 10 years dow; the road, what will the maintenance on all these mechanisms look like?

£1,000,000 to burn on a boat and I'm definitely getting that 2006 Sunseeker 82 over this. I'm only a million shy of my current boat budget too!
EDIT: manufacturers probably wouldn't like it but that'd be a great comprison video, cost-for-cost boat running costs. I.E. why not have an 82 instead of a 57?

Thank you for the great videos. This boat doesn't interest me much due to the extensive seating area. There is enough contiguous seating for 15 people on the main deck. I wouldn't have that many on board at one time. The Sealine C530 is a much better design IMO. Putting a table on the bow and a main deck galley are brilliant.
The Sealine is certainly an interesting design. I must get a yacht tour of one.
Princess for small boats and Sunseeker for large boats IMHO.
I do note that the main deck is one level, no steps. Princess doesn't even do that at 62. Interesting difference.

What’s the range on a boat like this?
I started with the 17m superyacht tour and didn't think it could get any better. But it does. I actually prefer these smaller boats, more bijou and much cosier. Another great tour.

Yes I've seen it. I just love the styling of it. Can imagine all the fun to be had in it. On a similar theme, it's good to watch the old, round Britain power boat race and the difference types of boats competing.
