Actually think the leather they used on these are better than most of the recent releases. Not super soft but the cuts are thick similar to the 85 cut jordan 1s. Also, I personally like that these look so similar to the black cements as someone who doesn't own a pair of BC3s lol
The quality on these is crazy good. Waaay better than most Nike releases, even way better than most AJ3s. The only issue for me was the dreaded Nike quality control. I had to go through 3 pairs just to end up with 1 good pair.

These really fulfil Jordan’s original brief to create a luxury shoe, inspired by high end Italian footwear. They are so butter smooth like a Gucci handbag, the brown accents are a perfect match for the vintage leather jacket that you stole from your dad, and you can’t help but strut like a mafioso hitman when you wear them.
Yes, the original images showed the shoe with grayish tan elephant print, and it was going to be called the Air Jordan 3 Desert Cement. I really wish that Jordan Brand had stayed with that idea.
The AJ3 might be my favorite sneaker of all time, and I especially love the black cements and the white cements, so my comments come from me being a Stan And I’m also a fan of Hes here, so I hope he takes this as tongue in cheek - but I imagine a universe where they made these slightly differently, enough where you got the cement vibes without them being so blatant and James’ review is how he wished they were more like the cement 3’s and how he’s going to do a custom to make them look more like them, lolololololol
I hit on a pair for retail and when I got them in hand, the tongue was short on one of the shoes. Like noticeably shorter. On one shoe the jump man logos feet were almost touching the laces and on the other was like an inch gap. I tried making them work but I ultimately had to send them back 😩
The shoe has suede on the tongue, rear ankle collar & mid-panel eye stays. I simply sprayed mine with 3M scotchguard suede protector. I’m sure other products like Crepe Protect and Reshovn8r would work just as well.
It's definitely not selling as fast as Nike wanted, still plenty sitting on Nike and Foot locker outlets - hard to imagine when I last saw Jordan 3s sitting on a shelves for more than 2-3 days...
Why does Jordan Brand keep shoe-horning pops of orange onto Jordan 3 colourways that have no business being there? These, Cool grey, Court Purple, Pine Green, Cardinal....They all would be super clean if not for those annoying pops of orange accent that IMHO, are distractions at best, and ruin the look of the sneakers completely at worse.
@@otakusamsay1953 My contention is that those orange accent not only adds nothing to the sneakers, but in fact takes away from what would otherwise be a really clean colourway.
