Looking really great. I've generally stopped using decals (unless I absolutely have to) and will always use paint masks where I can, or freehand markings, which on armour isn't that much of a chore. For aircraft though... trying to paint aircraft markings I think would be difficult to say the least, espcecially on aircraft that have a lot of stencilling or complex markings like nose art and so on. Anyway, I think you've done a fantastic job on this one - looking forward to the next vid where you tie it all together and we can see the Swordfish in all it's glory. Great video thanks for sharing.
There are a few manufacturers, but I use Ultimate Modeling Products. I've never thinned it, but I have mixed some of the colors together to get different shades. If you try them, always test them first. I have found that the dark colors tend to stain, so I don't used those as much.
Outstanding work! I loved when you said at one point, "this fits in here like this and then falls off." Ah, the realities of model building. Dave
I love beautiful ‘British Birds’, your Swordfish is no exception! I shall look forward to the finished product. Keep up the good work Brett.👍😎

Everything is looking great Brett. Always amazed to see how clean looking your builds are.
Nice and careful job, Brett. Nice to see. It certainly leads to a great result on the model.
Greetings, Joachim

some of the tamiya 1/48 kits do not have the torpedo in the the kit which ones do thanks Brad
I'm not sure, Brad. Scalemates might be a good place to look.
Who makes the dark dirt and light dirt washes you use? Also, do you thin it and with what if you do?
