You can hear a very clear difference. Sony stepped it up this time around. Really impressed. JBL party speakers are one trick ponies. They're bass babies, thats it. This Sony is leagues ahead in terms of sound quality.
I agree. However, while the sizes varied significantly, the prices are not far apart. So I'd rather spend a little more money and get the best quality than pay around the same price and get the basic sound.
@Mr.UnboxTour1224 when compared to that, it just comes down to preference, which i totally respect your outlook! I personally will probably wait until I can find some kind of deal and snag one then. I think it would be pretty cool to daisy chain a 310 to this Sony Field 7 and get the best of both worlds lol. Haha

Wow, what a cool and great comparison. As I know, SONY ULT Field 7 nearest and equal competitor is JBL Boombox 3, not Xtreme 4.
And from other reviewers, The ULT Field 7 also outperformed Boombox 3.
SONY's back to its root, as major audio and video know well brand. Their New ULT speaker and Wear series really made very well, as you can hear in this comparison, the ULT Field 7 sounds wider and clearer than Xtreme 4. The bass department also give more clarity in thumb thumb and deep bass. I think the Field 7 in normal mode, if the ULT mode 1 or 2 activated, I believe the bass department will be more booming.
Really, major improvement for SONY mobile speakers line up. Hoping they bring the ULT series are not for mobile speaker and wear only, but to other of their audio equipment.
So glad SONY did hear their customers feedback. This time they are on the right way. Keep it up SONY.
Thanks, my friend. The comparison is a little unfair, like comparing Godzilla to Mickey Mouse😅, but I just want to show which speakers produce greater sound and bass for about the same price.

This is already too much, even despite the size where the jbl is half the size, it produces a more modern and detailed sound, with clear detailing of instruments and voices. It seems as if Sony plays cleaner🤦🤦, but no, it’s more like volume that covers the entire range with its low frequencies, alas, this is an illusion. Always JBL, more open sound and not an ounce of water, in other words, the sound is taken from the future🥳🥳

Dude there's nothing wrong with being a fan of a certain brand..but Sony ult 7 Hands the Xtreme 4 its A55..like 98% of the reviewers already have the sony ult field 7 beating the jbl boombox 3 in a direct comparison..the jbl xtreme 4isnt even in the same league of the field 7.

Вроде бы Сони играет неплохо 🤦🤦, но нет, это скорее громкость, перекрывающая весь диапазон своими низкими частотами, увы, это эхо от голосов и инструментов🤦🤦😅, в то время как жбл передает более сбалансированный и реалистичный звук😮😊. Всегда JBL, более открытый звук и ни грамма воды, другими словами звук взят из будущего, 🥳🥳

Так по размеру близко, а то что сони больше там просто лишнего пластика по бокам больше, и автор говорит что без улучшалок играет, а есть ещё эквалайзер, сейчас слухану в своих наушниках, люди пишут что сони лучше звучит
Звучат немного по разному, на то что есть еквалайзер звучания плюс минус одинаковые, кто какую бы не взял будет доволен, хотя конечно лучше вживую сравнить и со своей музыкой
