Great job on customize your doll. Very pretty. I was fortunate to find two rainbow high doll from the marketplace Facebook for 10 each. So I decided to buy it and I will experiment to learn how to customize the dolls soon. I have been researching on you tubers who do customize their dolls. Anyway, you can curl the hair without using heat of curling iron. You can wet the hair - use perm rods to roll it the way how you want it curl. Then you dip the doll hair in boiling water - first take the bowling water away from the stove - pour it on cup to let the doll’s head fully into hot water for like 20 seconds. Then gently paper towel dry the hair..and let it air dry naturally for a day or two. Then you can slowly remove the rods and don’t brush it because it will frizzed..just leave the curls alone or just separating it little by little til you find it satisfied the way you want it to be styled. Have fun customize them!
She’s already sold out on amazon which is kinda crazy to me. She seems to be the "it" RH doll this holiday and I hope people who haven’t gotten her know that she’s available at Walgreens and don’t have to rely on scalpers. Every Walgreens I’ve been to have them in stock.
My daughter will get her for Christmas & the hair salon 🎉👍❤️🤗😍 I’ll be curious what I think I definitely prefer the $26.99 price point with dolls that get 2 looks
ayee u finally got her!! she’s my first and only rainbow high doll so far and i loooove her🥰💙 also omggg not the hair chalk trend 🥺 i also have brown hair and could never get it to show 😪 my parents eventually allowed me to dye my hair on summer breaks tho, and now that i don’t have a highschool dresscode anymore i’ve gone back to dyeing it hahah. currently sporting a purple underdye!💜 i’m waiting for it to wash out more so that i can try that hair chalk that came with Amaya on myself 😂
i remember not seeing any amayas anywhere for a good couple of months until recently i looove her vinyl jacket, but it limits her arm movement so much 😔
My sister did the hair chalk color thing for a bit. She has strawberry blond/light brown hair though. I never got into it and I doubt it would have even worked because I have very dark brown, almost black looking hair.
I love my Amaya doll though the clear jacket doesn’t allow for much arm movement and the colors really didn’t show up in my hair but I have yet to try them in my clean hair and it was fun playing with her hair and styling it but the tinsel doesn’t really hold up to multiple brushing and my attempts at a flyaway free fishtail braid, which looks awesome with her multi color hair.
If I get Amaya, I'm probably not gonna touch her hair with the color streaks. I just dont want to ruin it, considering that I can't remove the streaks without bleach or whatever. And maybe a trim so it's not touching the floor.
i got her, and brushing her hair was a pain, especially while brushing cause the tinsel just kept snagging, same thing happened to my kitty k. if i get her again the second i take her out of the box i'm instantly removing the tinsel, it may be pretty but it's such a pain lmfao.
Maybe there's batching issues or something? Mine had the tinsel all tied together in the back and never did anything funky with me after I washed her hair out. I'm still waiting to finally get to bring Kitty home!
