Here’s my theory for the lore/plot of the album:
(Sorry about the extremely long comment lol)
The album is a sort of play; a tragedy to be specific. Genesis is an intro; setting the scene of the story. And playing god is an overture (summary) in which someone tries to play god; and become immortal and inevitably dies as a result.
-The story goes: Audacity is them getting the idea and the curiosity of what it would be like to be play god and be immortal (first part of playing god).
-Reverie is daydreaming (Scott’s riff in playing god).
-ABC is either just a fun song or it’s a second part of reverie (the flowy section of playing god).
-Memento mori is them begging and forgetting about their own mortality (the third time they play the main riff of playing god).
-Fuck around and find out is self explanatory: they fuck around and find out (the last main riff in playing god).
-all falls apart is a transition/interlude to the second half of the story and is also the name of the second half; since everything falls apart. (the bridge of playing god)
-neurotica is them becoming neurotic and paranoid with chasing the idea of godliness and immortality (hence the neurotic and obsessive camera-work in the music video). It’s very playful at the start, and ends very chaotically as they begin to fall apart (the bossa nova and melody sections of playing god)
-chimera is defined as something that is whisked for but is only illusion and impossible to achieve. This person is never going to be immoral and they are starting to suffer the consequences. (Second to last section of playing god, in which things start to sound dark and chaotic)
-bloodbath is the bloodbath that ensues at the end of the play. The person dies a horrible death due to their obsession (The last chaotic section of playing god)
-Ego death is a conclusion and grand finale to the play. Basically summarizing how they died because of their ego and ignorance.
Another part of the theory may be that:
-neurotica is them getting the powers of god and them becoming overwhelmed with the power
-chimera is them realizing that it’s impossible to attain as they realize their mortality
-bloodbath is their downfall as the overwhelming power consumes them. They frantically try to save themselves but it’s too late (hence the heavy villain sound)
There’s a lot more smaller parts to the theory but this comment is already long enough as is lmao

I saw Brass Tracks live in Milwaukee and it was incredible. My mind was blown the whole entire show and I had so much fun! Ever since that night I've been a huge Brass Tracks fan and then once I saw that Polyphia did a collab I was the happiest human on earth.

Maybe I need headphones but hard to hear it all mostly bass and drums but the rest sounds good if I could hear it better I think I would like it. Maybe hearing is finally going after listening to all polyphia at volume knob pinned to 11.

Back in the 1970's a space probe was launched that included among other things, theme show music from cop shows. Apparently it finally reached some alien culture light years away and they sent this in a reply. It has finally been declassified and we can all listen

Dude. This is African American Gospel music! SOUL, BABY!!! This is winning the whole game, right off the bat, on the first track!
All the rest of the tracks are icing on the cake.
"Ego Death" to close the album out is just the biggest icing flex ever!
