You know, I'm just seeing your comment and this video; they say a picture speaks a thousand words, and the one of Matthew Blake standing next to his Range is one of them. I've never heard of him (until now), and the fact that he only has 1 picture of him is extremely mysterious. It made me want to know more about Matthew Blake, because we would always hear about the main drug kingpins, but Blake was different. It's starting to sink in (I could be wrong) as to why Shorty Pop died a brutal death...
Man in my opinion. Shorty pop was a flunky... but on another note keep grinding bro... I wanted to know what other bodies that fool po was responsible for... but alpo was a slick side hater... the reason he had ppl killed was over bs that coulda been talked about
Aint no talking about nothing when you playing for keeps in the murder capital. Its kill or be killed shit Alpo almost got took out he jus lucked up and survived the first attempt.
Jealously. Just like Tank, Alpo wanted to get up under him because he bigger than him probably. When Blake allowed for him to be and saw his real ways or probably gated it. Alpo got mad and put Pop on him.
You know people follow any trend they see online. They see people hate Alpo so they do it yet they wasn’t even born yet, not from DC or NYC, never was in the streets, etc. Monkey see monkey do! Alpo didn’t do anything different than any other criminal.
I’ve seen a few people say Alpo didn’t have anything to do with his murder idk. I wonder why there is no audio of Alpo describing the murder like how he did with everyone else he killed. No one ever mentions this guy when they bring up Alpo. You only hear about Rich, Domencio, Tank, and Fray.
alpo copped to around 14 murders and u mentioned 4 names. so likely there are at least ten other dudes that he didnt mention in interviews, you wud probably have to check court transcripts and shit for those. those 4 dudes arent the only people he had killed

When people talk about JunkYard, yeah Sardines was a great jam. But Ruff it off was a stone cold hitter and The Word was their most thought provoking song.
I’m from New York where all this hustling stuff started . The game was around a long time before the Alpo types came on the set. Alpo was Puerto Rican. He did his thing a little different. Especially runnin on the black side of Harlem. Black Harlem had code! Did cats have toys? Yeah but no real hustler popped wheelies running from the police down 8th Ave in broad daylight . That was new to a seasoned Harlem cat. I know 30 no name hustlers that sold grade 4 herron by the buckets. If nobody ratted them out they moved away to a farm somewhere. Playing with their grandkids. Lesson A: The higher your self esteem ( your world view and how you see yourself in it) the lower profile you can play. Lower self esteem makes you wanna shine in front of poor people. I was living in LA when all this Po stuff was going on but I used to hear his name. Old Harlem hustlers we’re looking at their watch wondering when this ngas time was gonna be up. His run was short. If he doesn’t rat that woulda been the end of him. Just like real Harlem cats knew all the time. Old Harlem cats still know you don’t run around floss while you getting rich off dope money. They let you sell enough to destroy your people then That’s it Nga! Time to go. That’s why ain’t no black people runnin the dope game no mo! No code! It’s over
Yes karma is real the bible says live by the sword die by the sword what these guys do not understand is God is real he showed me he was a living God by doing some for me that I will never forget so yes his word is true try reading his word and pray and you will see the difference any time innocent blood is spilt it must be paid for that why we can't stop the killing in our neighbor hoods because God repays the spiller of blood back to four generations meaning that some one in you family will pay for that blood being spilt if not you where it found is the 5th book of the Bible which is Deuteronomy.
Yes it is...🥃🕶From my own Experience..U can have Good / Bad Karma depends on what U put out ..When i was doing Bad it came back on me so i couldn't get mad & vise versa...🕶

Very few volunteer to leave the game! You either get knocked then come home broke and start over (most cats) or possibly get knocked off. A few guys try their hand at business but realize the have no skills to maintain. Too much to learn. Plus if you were known and gettin loud paper, the feds ain’t finished with you yet. Black males don’t pick the drug game without assistance from the society that created the condition in the first place. Our failure benefits many. If black people really realized what was taken from them, the could get it back! Selling drugs would be the furthest thing from their mind. It’s not that we don’t know what we want, it’s that we don’t know what TO want! Which is wayyy more serious! That’s why even when we get a good break, when we sittin on serious cash, we can’t hold it. Only people with purpose can take advantage of their accumulations. That’s what they stole! Our purpose as a group! You’ll never see another group, even gangster groups, eliminate one another like the common black male does. Over sneakers and girlfriends and short money of fake territory. No purpose no need to view others in your group as assets. Add self hatred plus the hatred of the world and we finished. But how you gonna teach right when you’re entire world view is wrong? Impossible! First change your world view.

They got Pop because he kept trying to press Blake's people. The dude( Blake's man) had an urban clothing store .when pop came outta jail for those 3 or so bodies he beat, he was on a war path( didnt last a good year) pop and em use to walk in the dude's (Blake man) store, take what he wanted, and dare the nigga to buck.slim dropped that load on pops head, the rest is history.
They killed Pop the following year Pop had a bounty on his head and so did everyone who was around Po....the thing about Po and Wayne and that whole little crew they weren't out in the open during these times....

From what I’ve seen most (not all but most) murders are committed for 2 reasons : Money or a female in one way or another….Alpo was one of those people that you know the world is gonna be just a little better off when he’s no longer in it….I can think of a lot of people who I can say that about but I won’t …..this time😉

To touch base on what unc1589 . Said he has a lot of merit with that explanation! Hustling went through phases where. It always started in the major cities then migrated to smaller places regardless of the size of the place . Just like my family we migrated to NYC .. Like the south migrated up north .. I been to all the major cities where it was popping off .and I must say I’m an immigrant to America been here since I was 9.. NYC definitely was never in the dust when it came to bringing bags to any city and I went from NYC to LA even to Detroit! We move differently and our code was a lil different.. I grew up under Alpo . His step Dad Angelo rocked my dad on 1st Ave. But values come from who you learn the game from .. My Point is Never down play the NYC influence on urban culture good or bad .. Harlem was the breeding ground for anything fly and I lived in DC as a youth and have mad love for the city . I have tons of family still there ! DC values different! It’s sad that they still act like they don’t know that ! It’s an underlined fact.. DC dudes know this !

I can believe that! I miss that era- I know about the gogo spot called Icebox and the black hole .
@nightryda707 I disagree,a bit,all the clubs was lil hectic. But everbody has there opinion. Best friend was also killed leaving there same year. The Dc,super predators list is something. I won't and can't go into details concerning street stuff. To all stay blessed
He didn't wanna do business with po
Both of them were homies....But Blake was on another level....SUPER COOL AS FUCK....I REMEMBER THAT RANGE AT THE TOP OF THE HILL ACROSS FROM THE WATER TOWER....WHEN KEITH TOLD ME BLAKE WAS GONE....FELT LIKE A FAMILY MEMBER....I ONLY KNEW HIM 5YRS.....POP WAS WILDIN' FITTING INTO A LIFESTYLE THAT HE SAW COMFORT IN...SAD....CRAZY SEE THIS AND BRING BACK THOSE GREAT DAYS OF THE 80'S DUCK & KEITH.... THANKS BRUH....THAT SHIT WAS 👍🏽 👌 👍🏽
You know, I'm just seeing your comment and this video; they say a picture speaks a thousand words, and the one of Matthew Blake standing next to his Range is one of them.
Always spot on with good content and narration
Po was a jealous dude I'm from Harlem I know
U don't know nothing
how you know
Alberto Martínez caused alot of pain in peoples lives and had the nerve to come home and try to floss like it was all good
Man Big ain't come out til 94, how did he have a tape of Biggie in 89?🤔🤦🏿♂️😂
🤣🤣🤣
Same thing that I was thinking

Maybe he meant Rakim 🤷🏾🤦🏾😄
That shit made me stop watching the video 😂
Biggie smalls in 86 had the black lumber jack with the hat to match I pretty sure he wasn't rapping

Man in my opinion. Shorty pop was a flunky... but on another note keep grinding bro... I wanted to know what other bodies that fool po was responsible for... but alpo was a slick side hater... the reason he had ppl killed was over bs that coulda been talked about
Yeah a lot of those murders could've been prevented for sure! Definitely BS
Yea he was a sucka too me any dude that’s killing over females need too jump off a bridge
Aint no talking about nothing when you playing for keeps in the murder capital. Its kill or be killed shit Alpo almost got took out he jus lucked up and survived the first attempt.
Bro I would take you out if I had orders from Po!
@@Saveyourbs but you won't cuz u can't. Po a whole pack now...
Alpo probably just was jealous of this dude, nothing more
"They was gone win" - Alpo
Or it was his mans 😂
Jealously. Just like Tank, Alpo wanted to get up under him because he bigger than him probably. When Blake allowed for him to be and saw his real ways or probably gated it. Alpo got mad and put Pop on him.
There’s no probability, that’s exactly what it was
Pop looking like Donald Faison.
Its wierd how ppl mad at alpo but not mad at the d.c hitters that actually committed these actually murders.
Who's mad?

Blake is Domencio! Come on, keep up or shut up.
Alpo was present at the basketball court when Blake got shot in broad daylight, in front everybody.

Dc's murder game was crazy af back in the day!
Murder game?? Yall was #1 back then. It changes year to year. Jacksonville was #1 at one time. Right now Chicago, Detroit & Philly are in a race.
Do ur homework dc murder game stil crazy
His fingernail must’ve been a hard thick fingernail to write his name on that cassette tape.
Less than a month later Alpo and Gary killed Rich… that’s crazy.
Excellent broadcast bruh. I never heard any of the heavyweights tell his story bruh does look like a humble smart guy. Shame he went out early in that way. Shout out to him n his wife. Learning of Alpo hating ass , he probably wanted the man's wife. Salute to you bruh
When people talk about JunkYard, yeah Sardines was a great jam. But Ruff it off was a stone cold hitter and The Word was their most thought provoking song.
Yessss "Reagan gave the Pentagon the money and the land!" I love The Word.
I use to love The Classic’s !!!! That was the spot …
No code! It’s over
Hustling didn't start in New York
@@travis5264 hustling started everywhere everyone was hustling drugs

@UNC hustling started in the South Bruh, most of the big time king pins were from NC or SC. One of them was Frank Matthews do your research.
There's no time limit for Revenge.

Damn. I often wonder if Karma is real.. then I see all this evidence from all these stories.. shit crazy…

Well said.

Shorty pop wasnt a contract killer as much as a stick up kid robbing for fly clothes to wear to a club.
It should be a long movie on this craziness
Hold up? BIG won't out in 1989!
