    Dang, Glen! How the hell can you visualize these tongs so easily? I was baffled until the very end until I saw the final product! Very cool, my friend!

      Hi Steve, I've made a few pairs... But I'm still unsure how well this larger pair will work. it's really necessary to have the exact size when adjusting... Thanks for this latest donation. Hope all is well. 😬

      @@gstongs Well I'm not first but eleventh should deserve a bowl of generic ramen style noodles.
      With a little pot of tea.

      Is that sk2 steel a brine quenching shock steel? Rockwell C55 or so. Takes a nice polish and loves to be used! Makes a decent flatter too

      I read it's best to oil quench (which I did) but it's US equivalent is something close to W1.

      A bowl of noodles and cup of tea is reasonable! Thanks.

    Glen, the little taps here and there is one of the reasons why your tongs turn out as nice as they do. Beautiful work as always.

    So relaxing watching you work. I could watch 45 min vids from you. But for some reason people watch short vids. 🤔😵‍💫have a great day my friend.

    Very nice Glen, to bad you didn't forge that big hammer before you re-lined the forge. Always nice work!!

    • @gstongs
      @gstongs  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, the bigger hammer beat up the lining / floor a bit but I have refractory to spare. Thanks Robert.

    Hi, just a question: wich kind of forge is that, that u use? Is it a gas forge or is it induction?

    • @gstongs
      @gstongs  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My small single burner forge is a gas (propane) forge. Thanks for watching.
