I first watched Bladerunner 2049 at the age of 13. It didn't have much meaning to me and I didn't understand it either. I'm turning 16 in a few months. A couple of months ago I went to Japan. Visiting Tokyo and Kyoto, the mass of modern infrastructure, huge crowds of people and the bright lights of Shinjuku hit me hard. This was a time when I was feeling exactly as K does in the movie; thoughtful, isolated and finding myself in a world where humanity is losing itself in the overwhelming mass of technology and modern world. On the plane ride home, I watched Bladerunner 2049 again, this time understanding and relating to the movie, thinking about it in depth and using it as nostalgia for the incredible experience I just had. This song matched perfectly with the movie are like a time machine, they contain all of my memories and nostalgia from modern Japan. This was an important life experience, and this song has helped me understand and store it. I think the song is similar for many people. Deep thought invoking, nostalgic ambience that sends you into a trance of memories, identity, and comforting loneliness. And I think this video encapsulates it. Thank you to the creator.
Although I know this song for a really long time, I still cannot desribe the feeling that it is creating inside of me. Still when I can't really understand it I can say that it is one of the best feelings that I've experienced. It feels like noting matters, youre here, now enjoying music and thats it. Blade Runner 2049 is a movie where theres a meaning behind the film just like Fight Club for an example, its supposed to provoke thoughts for the viewer about our way of life, how we value life as is and what could be our future. The visuals for the film, the aesthetic, and the overall vibe really are amazing for the film and its truly just a work of art, its not just a "relatable fr" type of meme in a sense but its actually super good as a film and its more than that, its a message

When I listen to this song, I forget that the world sucks, nothing, not even therapy can save me from the negativity. I've always been without parents, I had oral thrush a few years after i was born and have been unable to speak for most of my life. I took an IQ test and I'm well below average. The people taking care of me haven't been able to do anything about my anger issues. They recently gave access to the internet, which was probably one of the greatest choices for me, because just a few days later I found this song and finally felt at peace, I told the people who took care of me (non-verbally of course) that this song was probably the greatest cope I had found.

When I listen to this song, I forget that the world sucks, nothing, not even therapy can save me from the negativity. I've always been without parents, I had oral thrush a few years after i was born and have been unable to speak for most of my life. I took an IQ test and I'm well below average. The people taking care of me haven't been able to do anything about my anger issues. They recently gave access to the internet, which was probably one of the greatest choices for me, because just a few days later I found this song and finally felt at peace, I told the people who took care of me (non-verbally of course) that this song was probably the greatest cope I had found.

this song… holy shit. every time it makes me feel like i’m in a dream, or that i’m in another universe, or that i’ve lived as everything and everyone, it makes me feel every emotion and makes me feel like NOTHING else ever has. I don’t know what it is. I try and try to find songs that make me feel the way this does and some have come somewhat close but never like this. It’s so insane.
