Ah, unfortunately it's gonna be impossible. You can use a transient processor and reduce the release like crazy to try and minimize some of the effect, but it's not gonna be that effective

I think most people should do both (not necessarily at the same time😃 )
One shots are easier to control for me
I make every sound myself in serum!
Don't forget to turn OFF the 'Cut Itself' function, if you're trying to build chord progressions with one shot samples.
