      @Nakatomi Plaza in India we practice vedic Astrology which is a proven science. As a matter of fact I'm an astrologer and certain sections of the sky are ruled by dieties of those stars which in language might be fairies ...so I ask those fairies to bless him ..Lol . Please look into 'micheal Reed ' of Uk who practices 'authenic astrology' and if in the USA you can look up 'dennis harness' or 'joni patry' who makes world prediction using astronomy and Vedic astrology combined. (Different from western Astrology which is a tropical based science).

      None keep your 1060 and wait for 2160 for the next upgrade. The 1060 does a fine job with a little undervolt and a little oc on 1080p high on most games.

  • @tadi7847
    @tadi7847 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    This is a very useful video. Thanks for making it. I'm actually surprised at Gigabyte's performance, I had thought of them as bad coolers due to previous generation's designs. But now this changes everything since they are actually generally cheaper than other cards.
    The VRAM usage is very concerning for these cards, they only have 6GB and the game is already using 5.5GB, performance is nice but the VRAM thing can be trouble in the future. I'm assuming this is 1080p from the FPS, but what are the graphical settings used? I know this is not the scope of this video but I'm interested in this personally.
    With the overclocks, did you raise the power limits of the cards as much as possible?
    It would have been nice if you had included a chart with the clocks each card got after OC, or clocks gained, or both, maybe this is not so easy to make, I don't really know.

    Hello, very good video indeed.
    Something is confusing though when it comes to the Zotac :
    In the list you write Zotac Twin Fan, and the box displayed in the video shows an "AMP" tag on it, so ...... WHICH one did you put in the test config ?? The Zotac 2060 twin fan OR the Zotac 2060 AMP edition ? Here in France the AMP one is about 30-40€ more ....

    I really like your videos and your approach to make useful comparisons for the average/budget gamer (see your video on gaming on ultra vs. high). I was wondering, whether this test could be extrapolated to the 1660 ti series, since the manufacturers offer similar layouts for those cards, like the evga 1660 ti black or gigabyte 1660 ti gaming (or msi ventus). the 2060 is obviously are more powerful chip and needs more cooling, but the card layouts or the build quality and fans among the manufacturers should result in a similar picture for the 1660 ti series, right? so would you therefore go for a similar buy recommondation on that series?

  • @Igniorant
    @Igniorant 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Sorry if im wrong on this one but isn't the CPU pushing hot air on the back of the card since the fans are facing that direction? If so, doesn't that change the GPU temps?

      @TechDeals  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes, it'll raise it a bit... not a ton since this is open air testing, but yes, they probably would be 1-2 degrees cooler if the fan were turned 90 degrees

    You are really getting the structure of these videos honed down to a really fine concise size. My only criticism would be, it would be nice to have some quick B roll of each card running, partly to get a better look at them close up. And also to get an idea of what they look like in the case environment, what with so many coming with custom back plates and different lighting these days. Just nice to see them in action, if only briefly.

    I have a question maybe you can help me. I have the asus rog 2070 8gb oc (even though i am a radeon fan :p i find this card amazing!!!) now to my question. In gta v if i select quiet bios the card doesn’t start the fans for about 30 min after that it start them usually 2-3 times a minute and shuts them off in few seconds. IS THIS HIGH RATE OF START STOP DO MORE WEAR ON FAN AND SHORTS THEYR LIFE? I read that maglev fans do not like start stop too much but asus rog strix are fluid type if not mystaken right? I didnt find any info on this. Of course i can just turn them on and leave them when i play but it’s nice to play with no fans runnig on gpu and stay at 52 degrees C :)))

      I have seen on youtube that this fans can be lubricated too by taking the blades off. I did this on an old 7850 sapphire radeon and worked flawlesly! You have to first try on some card or fan that is not a big deal if you break it because they can brake using this technique but i found it ok. I had a ball bearing fan card few years ago when the vearing fail no lubrication can be done :( maybe ball bearing last longer but when they fail no maintenance is possible

    Thanks for making this video. Even though these are considered very old in 2023, I recently purchased an EVGA single fan 2060 refurb for use in an old Dell I am using as a home theater PC, no gaming. I was interested in its fan performance and loudness, and you anaswered most of the questions I have. Even though it's not the exact same model, it should hold up for my purposes.

I currently have a EVGA GTX 1060 6gb SC Gaming and I’m not happy with the average FPS I’m currently getting at 1440p I have to run most games at low settings to get a decent FPS. Thanks in advance!!

    Good, good material - thanks for this ... but what about the buzzing coils?
    None of these cards had such a problem? I'm already testing the 5th (2xMSI 2060 Gaming Z, 3xASUS 2060 ROG Strix OC) on different, new power supplies (Seasonic PRIME 750W, be quiet! 600W Pure Power 11) and non-stop is a problem.
    Maybe make stuff about it? What do you think about it?
    Greetings.

    Hands down, best GPU comparison video i seen on youtube. Informative about noise and cooling. These 2 are the most important to know about GPU cards (ironically). I hate comparison videos that simply ignore these or don't put enough emphasis.

    My Zotac AMP 2060 ran at a boost of 2025Mhz in Fire Strike and according to Afterburner, will peak up to 2055 during gaming, hanging around the 2000-2025 mark most of the time at around 50% fan speed and low to mid-60c temps. Very happy with it. Great video, keep the awesome content coming!
