Romancing SaGa 2, out of the whole series, is the game I would say is the most Dragon Quest like. It's still fairly non-linear but it is more linear than 1 and 3. Though less linear than SaGa Frontier 2, which I actually think Jesse would enjoy a lot if he hasn't played it yet. Maybe we will get a nice remake or remaster of that.
NGL, the Stray playthrough with Mrs Cox was one of the most wholesome, wonderful things I've seen from the Cox. So now of course we need one with Mr. Cox, dunno what that would be but we need it xD
I love that so many other TH-camrs who see this Nintendo Direct, see the MVC collection and call that Maximilian Dood will freak out at this news. And are all correct in this prediction. 😊

What's wild to me is that for the past 20 years, everyone is CONSTANTLY like, "Eh. Nintendo. Not really my thing but I'll take a look." then they get blasted with everything they love. And you think that'd change their opinion the next go-around. But, six months later, they return to the, "Eh. Nintendo. Not really my thing but I'll take a look." It happens every time. I first noticed this with the Wii U when Nintendo kept releasing all these baller games and people kept going, "Ugh, the Wii U has NO good games except this one they just announced! I'm not going to buy it for ONE game!" except those same people said that EXACT thing 20 times within 2 years.
They will probably do that in the future. The thing with MP 2 and 3 is thst they were developed in old Unreal 3 engine, unlike the in-house engine for the og Metroid Prime. So that will take more time and resources than the latter title, but t is still possible.

I mean Square Enix still has a cordial relationship with some of the people that are not within the company: - Yoko Shimomura - Nobuo Uematsu - Akihiko Yoshida - Kazushige Nojima - Yoko Taro - And of course Sakaguchi.
If Sega won't, if I were Nintendo I would just partner with them and fund it myself. Monolith Soft has quite literally the perfect engine for that series.
