My dad is 86 and Anglo Indian...I grew upin the 70' s watching this with my dad who laughed so hard it was hard to know what to focus on 😅...he absolutely loved this...he has dementia now but next time I'm with him I'll play him this it'll make his day 🇦🇺🤣

I watched this show from my Daddy's knee, in the 1970's in Zambia. Back then I was too little to understand the humour. Now Dad is 86 and he is too old to understand the humour (or anything else). While I struggle to hold myself upright from laughter.

Used to stand at the Falls and gaze across the gorge at the Rhodesians. Went for river cruises on the Zambezi. Favourite swimming pool Hotel Musi o Tunya. Loved the fat baobab tree opposite the hotel. Favourite 5 course dinner at The Fairmount. Favourite drink Lime Soda at the Northwestern Hotel. Favourite car my Dad's blue Datsun station wagon, which we always refueled at the Caltex bunk opposite Fairmount. Best friends lived at DLTT College and Maramba. Favourite weekend drive Lusaka Road to Choma to have grilled beef, baked potato and fresh citrus juice and a sip of Dad's lager (Castle?) Those sweet memories just come rushing back. just two of them is enough to make my day better. add Juan and it becomes outstanding. but we need Mr Brown to provide the connectors in most jokes. i watched MYL when TV was a luxury. that could be why this sit com is precious to people like me.

As a child aged 8-10 years old I loved watching Mind your Language, my parents loved watching it aswel, especially when Ali and Ranjit were on a scene- my point is The relationship between A Sikh and a Muslim was spot on I do admire that bcuz them days Racist remarks and joking around were always there to offend some types of people, but the comedy was always great 👍, and when it was on tv School the next day most of the kids would be impersonating the Asain accent and offensive language with most of the kids being hurt which caused many fights Thank god we are in better times and there is room for Improvement...🇬🇧🇬🇧🇵🇰🇵🇰👍
It my opinion, they are the best actors in this sitcom. I love both of them, especially when they are fighting. The funniest, in my opinion, was when ali couldn't understand the question of his teacher using the words in a question "you are" and then ranjeet said to ali, "You are a stupid poof." it had me dead 😂😂
@@musiccollector what do you mean? as a muslim i've donated tons of times to hindus and sikhs alike for things like life-saving surgeries for their kids, and i know tons of muslims who do the same. in fact, the muslim community in india was the most charitable (including volunteering to help and donating ambulances etc) from all the communities during the covid crisis, and afterwards, their homes were burned down, etc, by hindutva claiming they spread covid simply because less of them died (probably because we do Wudhu 5 times a day and the virus got flushed away constantly, as the gargling and nasal rinsing was recommended as preventatives by scientists anyway)

Mr Brown is an ideal classroom English teacher. He's so quick to respond the silly answers to his questions. Doesn't get angry to his unruly students. Love this comedy comedy.
