She's in remarkable shape honestly, going to lay some clear on the hood and fenders to protect the patina and run with it for now. Don't have the spare $10,000 for the paint and body work at the moment
@@LucoreAuto If you get out my way I can promise two things. Some of the best barbecue you'll ever eat and hours of quality automotive footage. Some of it could even be usable for public consumption if I could keep the language PG.
In about 1985 I had a 1970 LeMans a hell of a lot nicer than that, that I drove it to the junkyard and left it there because the floor was rusted. The interior was perfect, the drivetrain was fine, it's a shame.
Lol who knows how they determine what to show who and when. We certainly don't get it 😀 It's doing great... though it popped a header gasket on me so gonna have to fix that.
Can NOT tell you all how great it feels for this thing to be alive and driving again!
I have a 70 Lemans Sport. I haven't driven it in 24 years need to get it going.
@@frankramirez4694 well what's the hold up!? Spring is just around the corner!
@@LucoreAuto this will be my second time fixing it up .
I have a 1975 LeMans 4 door and it's a running car with 57000 miles on it.
The exhaust system in that car compliments the motor quite nicely. Sounds awesome!
Thanks! We definitely love how this thing all turned out! She's got a great roar 😀
I just love those old pontiac le mans awsome 🤙
Thank you! Hopefully it decides to play nice for a while!
Two revs, always two revs!
🚗💨vroom vroom!
As soon as it's not a frozen tundra here we'll get some REAL good sounds of this thing!
If it's for kids... three. Two warm ups at mid pedal and one at 3/4, usually gets a jump and giggling. 😁👍
Badass ride right there!!
Ty Sir! Pretty fun having it out, had 2 people roll through the lot and comment on it. You can hear one of them in the clip
Love it! My 72 is your car's twin with paint color and surface rust as well. Nice to see another lemans on the road.
Sounding great
We are MORE than happy with how the exhaust note turned out with this thing! Now hopefully it just wants to go cruising once it's nice and warm(ish)
Love the car i had one when 1 was 16 man I miss her
Thank you! We're pretty damn happy with how she's turned out. Lots of fun ahead in it!
Sweet ride...that engine block alone is worth a mint, drag cars used most of them up...nothing like 400 Pontiac power...
Dang that things sounds good!!!!
Rabbiddibabbidy!

That car sounds so amazing! Come on over to Illinois and I'll feed you all the barbecue you can eat!
Oh I'm sure it'll rumble out that way sometime this summer! Glad you like the sound 😉

You ain't lying! But damn it, first drive I was going right back there for my tasty ribs and fat guy fries!
Glad you got your car running. But someone take it away from him before he breaks something else.
Lol! Mine! No taking it away, but hopefully we don't have to go through THAT again. Next major planned surgery will probably be rear end related...
@@LucoreAuto At First I Thought , He Went Low 1, 2,3 , And into Reverse at 30 mph.have fun.
Quit torquing the converter Bro....lol.
But seriously...quit it!!!
Wasn't even torqueing it hard, just a tiny little bit!
