    Props to Jon for essentially re-keying this whole portion of the level to progress the timeline of consequences. That was a lot of rooms of description changed by PC/NPC actions.

    Very impressed with Jon's ability to modify so much of the Beastman area and add his own color to reflect the consequences of the Club's actions! Also loved Lisbeth's new spell and think that once there are couple of these spells/items developed by the Club, it might be a good tack on episode explaining the genesis of the research and how you arrived on the level, mechanics of how the spell will work, etc. because this is awesome and I cannot wait to see how Lisbeth applies this in an encounter. SPOILERS BELOW:
    When the stalker went west was I the only one who was afraid that Neferet had gone back to the debouch area to get to the library and David has missed an opportunity to see it when he was using the Circlet to look into the Prior area with the living mosaic?

    Though I've been silent for a while, every Tuesday is a highlight when I get to watch y'all. As a referee that likes to tinker with the rules of OSE I enjoy seeing what you guys change for your game.

    The lock deal was funny!!!!! The moment of every DM has when a PC goes so far in depth that the brain is like.. why are you focusing on that?!

    Ted’s intro was so potent it summoned gremlins! Also that might be the hardest I’ve laughed about 3d6DTL ever; Jon’s stoic displeasure a cherry on top.

      No cap. How is it that I had never heard of the 'demure' phenomenon, then all of a sudden I hear of it twice within a day or two?

    It is Tuesday and that means 3d6 Arden Vul time! I love all videos by 3d6 Down The Line, very entertaining and great ideas for future games.
    Upior is 5th level? Alas we knew him well.

    At around 54 minutes in, I noticed a cricket in the background. It adds a lovely ambience to the dungeon crawling. Although I imagine there aren't many crickets in Arden Vul. I wonder what it would be like living in an ancient mega dungeon. I imagine the life expectancy is a bit lower than for those weak surface dwellers.

    As a Forever DM, I really felt Jon's mild irritation at the hemming and hawing🤣
    How about "Unsought Death" or "Death Unsought" for that armor?

    I am not sure, but is this the second time Jon did excuse himself for not mentioning the magic mouth? It Must be so complex to keep track of all the stuff, they have changed by playing, and all the stuff, which my change off camera by time passing…i pride myself for remembering all sorts of details in one campaign i am playing and two i am GMing, but without a good book keeping this one dungeon would kill me. This makes it even more impressing for me, how little Jon staggers… love the way you are gaming!

    Hey, Jon! I have a GM'ing question and maybe a potential video idea if you're willing to bequeth some of your GM techniques to us!
    With a rampaging Neferat in the Halls, did you make rolls behind the scenes to determine the outcome of the Beast Man fight, follow logics, or something else? As a GM, what is your approach to large conflicts like that with a lot of moving pieces? I ask because the flow of everything in this session was very fascinating and really well done in my opinion!

    • @3D6DTL
      @3D6DTL  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

      I don’t make rolls for these types of scenarios. I roughly estimate the opposing sides’ strengths and weaknesses and make a judgment call. Then I extrapolate the fallout and consequences based on that assessment. It should be noted, however, that I never make a decision based on what makes a good “story”. I try to remain as neutral as possible.

    • @benharder7816
      @benharder7816 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      @@3D6DTL Gotcha, thanks! Well, I can certainly tell you have good taste for neutrality. I'm sure it was a tough decision to make some of those calls, but at the end of the day, that's just consequences!

    David needs to calm himself down sometimes, he’s not giving Jon enough time too think 😂 As a GM myself, I see this is a positive thing though, because that means my players are very engaged.
