Watching this video answers so many questions as to why my eye makeup never looks as good as youtubers. I have poor vision and don't wear contacts. I also don't have a magnifying mirror. I thought I was able to compensate like it wasn't a big deal, but seeing how much detail you're adding, and how precise your movements are make me realize how I've been handicapped. This actually makes me feel better now I know specific movements that may help me. Even if I can never make my eyes look like yours, I now know why at least. Eta: also that maybe I should get around to buying that magnifying mirror.
I think having a magnifying mirror would help a lot! I wear glasses and contacts and I know I wouldn’t be able to create as detailed work if I didn’t wear them!

I did this look today for some couples photos for me and my husband and it was the first time I’ve ever followed a TH-cam tutorial and it doesn’t look EXACTLY the same but it came out soooo well and I was so proud of myself. You really break it down so well for people to follow!

I just got back from seeing frozen 2 for the second time(lol) and a couple days ago when I saw it the first time I immediately bought the whole anna set and I'm excited to do this look as when it comes in in a couple of days!

The glitters are not eye-safe because they're tiny plastic pieces that can cut your retina, not because of staining. The only ones that stain are pressed pigments (not actual eyeshadows) and glitter =/= pigments. Also, you definitely don't need to use glitter glue with ColourPop glitters, they're self-applicable. That's probably why you're having a hard time removing them. Also, for those who don't have or don't like using glitter glue, you can apply the metallic/foil shades with a wet brush for the same look.
Please do a look that will focus on the Elsa palette 😍 I would love to see a look with that palette as well. This look is absolutely gorgeous 😍✨(thank you for being one of my inspirations, by the way).

Loved this. Followed it today and it came out great! I did scroll to see if anyone pointed it out, but the glitter pans are called pressed pigments and have warnings because glitter can cut the eye. You should always use glitter glue primer (which you did) and keep your eye closed when applying it. It is technically NOT approved for eye use because of the risk of lacerating the eye. Careful use will keep your eyes safe, ladies!

I hope you loved the movie (assuming you've already seen it)! And yes, my textured eyelids are the worst haha it took me forever to figure it out. I just thought something was wrong with me and I wasn't doing something right until I did makeup on other people and it turned out perfect 🙄😂
So Pretty! I have both palettes but I still wonder why they included glitter that not for the eye area...in an eye palette?!?! Doesn't make much sense to me. Can't wait to create a look like this!
I think for the glitter it's more of a precaution. I used around my eye area but I had a hard time removing it (it didn't just come off the first time I used a makeup wipe). I've seen brands using disclosures like that in recent years - especially with eyeshadows that may temporarily stain the eyelid. I personally don't think there's much harm in using these glitters on your eyelid, but I'm sure they have that in case someone were to use it on their eyes and become upset about having difficulty removing it.

I hope you loved the movie (assuming you've already seen it)! And yes, my textured eyelids are the worst haha it took me forever to figure it out. I just thought something was wrong with me and I wasn't doing something right until I did makeup on other people and it turned out perfect 🙄😂

So Pretty! I have both palettes but I still wonder why they included glitter that not for the eye area...in an eye palette?!?! Doesn't make much sense to me. Can't wait to create a look like this!
I think for the glitter it's more of a precaution. I used around my eye area but I had a hard time removing it (it didn't just come off the first time I used a makeup wipe). I've seen brands using disclosures like that in recent years - especially with eyeshadows that may temporarily stain the eyelid. I personally don't think there's much harm in using these glitters on your eyelid, but I'm sure they have that in case someone were to use it on their eyes and become upset about having difficulty removing it.

Awww thank you so much Alexa! I've been trying to do a "12 Days of Christmas" upload but I don't want to call it out because I'm worried about being bummed if I miss a day. But I think I have enough videos to do one for 12 days straight which is kinda cool!
