I was there when the flood hit. Our house was only about 30 yards from the river. This is bringing back some stuff for me. I remember driving my mother back from Vanderbilt when it hit and seeing the tornado rip through the trailer park past the Wal-Mart as we were only about 100 yards from it then getting into our house and having to be fed by the national guard for two days before I was even able to get back into our first floor. Then having to do cleanups. I got seriously sick from it and almost killed me. I did like it there. Just not the racist evangelical ppl.
9:48 when the 2010 flood hit there was a black mass of whatever at about the 11 o clock position from this photo just bringing he'll upon everyone. I just hope the Mexican place downtown is still there. Free chips and salsa and they would make me authentic tacos. The owner was the nicest guy just happy to be living the American dream. I would visit again but I would never live there. The people there are self racist. I can't rock with that.
Deliverance could have been filmed in Cheatham County Tennessee. The public school system is corrupt from the inside out and that is why generational poverty still abounds in Ashland City. Certainly, the town has plenty of affordable housing but trust me, you don't want to live there.

I remember that City back when it didn't have a Walmart. I haven't been there since 2009 other than to do this video. Thanks for all the information.
