wow, what Mark says here to do with "closure/integration" - it instantly reminded me of one of my favorite Jacob lines from LOST. When the man in black says "it always ends the same", and Jacob replies "It only ends once. Everything before that, is just progress"
Love Marc, was there for every IG live, we all experienced his life together!
This ending was brilliant comedy; he got emotional and when he composed himself, stated “right back down again!!! “ perfection 😊
& actually the story of how they, Leslie & Marc were working on this movie together was what brought them together
& then the movie became less about getting the movie done & more about.....living,
& so now remains unfinished,
but it served maybe it's real purpose, life, & so now maybe it's even more poignant that it will always be "unfinished"

I wish Marc would do video every once in a while on WTF. He is so photogenic and I love the show regardless. I just think it would go over well! Great interview!

Marc Maron is amazing. Not many people can make an hour feel like 20 minutes.
If you decide to watch this, stick with it to see him cry and then his freakish control to push it right back down again. Calls it a gift. Heh. Legendary.
I kinda hate myself for thinking this, and I'm not sure if anyone else did either, but for like the tiniest fraction of a second, I thought he was doing that at first as a gag. like cause his tone changed so radically all of a sudden. not that he hasn't had other genuine moments like this in press lately, they've been really compelling. but I mean hell one of the best moments of the new special is him dropping an incredibly funny punchline about Lynn right at the end of a rough story

there's some doors where u go in and from somewhere above a bucket is lowered through the stairwell and you put the money in, 10 dollars a bag, then the bucket goes up and you wait for it to come down, it always comes down with the right amount or else no one would go there--the scary part comes when you go outside cause everyone out there knows you just scored heroin--it's very unsettling to say the least--i lived between B and C
at the start it looked like Josh and Mark were trying to score Amazon pallets.

He actually did the tonight show right before this interview. 30 Rock is 1 block away from MOMA. And I was lucky enough to have Marc introduce me to Captain Kirk Douglas (the Roots) outside MOMA. The suit looks so good! Finally some fitting pants😂
That jumped out at me right away, and still wondering if it was really any big deal to get the wrinkles steamed out 🤷🏼♀️I must have too much free time on my hands 😆
