I just recently finally acquired my grail Seiko SLA047J1 Marine Master watch . This is the nicest watch I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned higher end Swiss watches in the past . This MM300 is in a class by itself 👍🏻💯
I love your detailed unbiased reviews. Cinematography and music is absolutely spot on. I love your theme music and I must say that you're my personal favorite watch reviewer. I truly admire and appreciate how you don't actively try to sell these watches like most YTbers and simply put out this content out of genuine passion of this hobby. Your wonderful accent adds another level of "luxury and high class to the production of all your videos. Hope you hit 100k subs soon as you truly deserve it. Much love from Canada.
I think the ultimate testimony of the MM300 is despite its pricepoint you find yourself wearing it as a tool. Every luxury Swiss diver I've ever owned, I am concious about pampering it. Wearing an MM300 is similar to wearing an SKX, you bung it on and it sort of stays on your wrist through thick and thin.
Currently, this is one of my favorite watch channel on youtube. I love ur review, the macro shoot and one thing that seal them all, i love ur third person view shot. Keep updating the channel 👍👍
Thanks for the great footage - I have very similar forearms, and also a 6.5" wrist. Needless to say, that I absolutely love how the watch looks on you. Now I know that this is going to be my one and only watch (once I have sold/given away all my Ali builds...).
You need to add a link and move the micro adjustment holes on the clasp and you would have a better fit without always having the clasp extention out. Maybe on hot days.
I really don't have a problem with it no longer having the Marinemaster marking; I like its low key attitude. It IS a Prospex, after all, and, if you don't know enough to see what it is, you don't know enough to care.
Excellent, Hafiz, thanks for the hard work youve put into this. For me, a married family man with too many financial commitments, I really really appreciate the 'Prospex' branding... why? Well, if I turn up at home with an Omega, Rolex or Tudor, my non-horology-enthusiast wife AKA 'The Finance Director' would blow her lid and months of lectures, hard looks and sarcastic comments follow... so for me, a watch that to the unititated might seem at first glance to be a Turtle or SKX thanks to the shape, the luxury of the watch slips under the wire 😂..."it's just another Seiko diver"..... and the domestic peace is kept.. It's a bit like my car... an unbadged Benz S500... "what? 5lt V8 engine? Id NEVER be THAT irresponsible dear...." And thus a happy marriage of 25 years continues...... However, the "Crown Prince" .. Number 1 Son.. is now 16 and is also interested in watches and cars. In fact I gave him my prized SKX007J for his 16th birthday. I am now doubting the judgement of encourages Seiko enthusiasm here, as he knows damn fine that my MM300 is no 'ordinary Seiko' and came very very close to spilling the beans on my Grand Seiko Sports... 'just an old Seiko Quartz, dear...'.... I will need to have a long hard chat around how the world works!
Beautiful marine master waiting next year for the new seiko movements from Grand Seiko passing down Then Pulling the trigger Plus Another masterpiece review
Such a wonderfully made video! You’ve captured the beauty of the deep blue dial, applied hour markers, and the various angles of the case. Shame about the finishing on thr seconds hand though. :(
Great review! As for the lum, I’m guessing it was designed as such with depleting brightness as our eyes adjust to the under water ambience. Otherwise, I’m guessing again, a constant illumination, like what Balls offers, might be a sweet target for barracudas... we wouldn’t want that. No no no. Cheers!!! 😀
Nice video thank you. In my opinion Seiko removed the name so they can bring it back a couple of years later as a Limited edition. . That’s what they do.
I’ve had my MM300 for 8 years. I’ve never had it serviced. You are correct, it does have an unacceptably high seconds per day gain/loss. Mine gains about 10 seconds per day. The saving grace is that it’s built like a tank. I’ve worn it and banged it against everything. Mine is not pretty. I’ve been hiking, camping, swimming and everything else in between. It can take just about any kind of abuse you can give it.
Great review ! Out of the blue watches, which one would you recommend , seiko marinemaster , tudor pelagos, tudor Black bay blue 39 or omega seamaster 300 (bbb41 owner) ? Keep the great reviews coming !
Many thanks. For that kind of money; pelagos is a better watch in my opinion. Better clasp, better time accuracy, lumed bezel, smaller size, lighter weight due to titanium. Blackbay 58 blue if you prefer smaller watch - I just can’t wear as it’s too little for my liking. Omega - not bad, but nothing groundbreaking from Submariner.
Seiko movements always do much much better than what they state. Like my mini turtle for example. It gains less than a second a day. I'm sure the MM does aswel
Thank you Hafiz ! As always an excellent macro review. and yes.... from 10 meters away, I can see that "X" (PS) Is it really a "MARINEMASTER" ? Not for me.
It’s a beautiful watch but I’d argue that bracelet clasp extension design is objectively poor. What were they thinking?! The clasp design and the stated accuracy are both dealbreakers for me, so this one is a pass. Beautiful videography though, as always!!
I suppose the question to ask yourself is if your buying a watch for an investment or your buying a watch you like , but it’s a little expensive l feel for a seiko , it’s a nice looking watch though build quality looks good. Thank you for doing this video , as usual content is very good .
Great review. These are great watches. They definitely wear small and are fantastic professional tools. I agree that the Prospex X logo is a step backwards. It cheapens the look of the watch because the logo is poor (like a knock-off games console) and because there's no range separation between these truly professional watches (and LX), with the cheaper, non professional models. Good dial/hand finish for the price when you consider the finish of the case and the quality of the movement.
To all my viewers, thank you for watching and support to my channel, my work, and my love for horology.

Hi Hafiz, if you had to pick between this marinemaster blue and Tudor Pelagos blue regardless of their prices which would you pick?

Curiously, I don't mind the grooves on the date wheel, I think it offers a bit of tool like texture and industrial appearance.
Damn, not matter the watch, you consistently hit it out of the park with your videos lately Hafiz.

Almost at 10k subs. Keep it up. Definitely one of best watch TH-camrs out there.
I can't get past the X logo. And that is why I went with the sbdx017.
I wish Seiko just kept the word Marinemaster.
Ultimately, what matters most is the watch's functionality and how it resonates with the wearer's personal style and needs.
Mine arrived today direct from Japan. I’m in love 😆😍👌
Excellent review, great macro and commentary 👍🏻👍🏻
Great review mate! I'm getting this watch soon too.
Your reviews are a level above, Hafiz. You've quickly become my favourite TH-cam watch reviewer. Keep up the amazing work!

Hafiz, another amazing video! Would you be able to review a Rolex Day-Date? I loved your review of the Datejust.
I think the indices are pressed and not applied. Great review as are all of your reviews🙏

Your macro photography is fantastic!
Amazing review, Hafez ! Well done 👍.

Best review!!

A magnificent piece! Wear it in good health.
Fantastic review sir.
I love this watch and you just summed it up perfectly 👍
Is it normal to have that seemingly rough edges on the bezel at 6:23?
Amazing video! My next Watch!

Such a killer watch with great wrist presence. Hard to beat at the price point.

I like your taste in watches and I like your reviews as well! Keep on with the good work!

Grand Seiko is not part of Seiko anymore, Why would they pass movements down?
@@PepRex see what happens Seiko LX have Spring drives
What movement were you talking about?
How do you like SLA047 ? Comparing to SLA023
Great review and a very cool Seiko; love the blue color!
Lovely watch and great review mate..
Excellent video as always. I’ll stick to my trusty 16610 but I do love this blue dial diver.
Very good video. Amazing macro shots. Keep it up.
Love this one! I have the MM200 and this one is next on the list for sure.. just have to convince my wife
Love your videos brother. Best watch reviews on TH-cam. What kind of camera do you use if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks for reviewing Seiko. Please do more entry level watches that u like.
Pls review SLA043 SLA017 SLA037. The family of 62MAS reissue
Great review and best videography to justify watch quality.
its very bi in the arm?like sumo or better?
How long can you keep the mm300 before servicing it?I think that would last a lifetime as well, whats the daily accuracy of the watch?
Love this watch, I have the black one and I just picked up the blue one tonight :-). Great review as usual.

The dial looks matt in most of your shots...is it really sunburst?
Indeed a beautiful color 👍

Excellent macro shots. 👍
great work as always. Please review a JLC master geographic!
Great job! As usual. Thank you so much!
blue dial is very beautiful.
very nice watch!!
Is this watch worth the money
What's the price of this ???
I looking for Quartz Marine Master..
I love this model …. So much level for the price …
Great review ! Out of the blue watches, which one would you recommend , seiko marinemaster , tudor pelagos, tudor Black bay blue 39 or omega seamaster 300 (bbb41 owner) ? Keep the great reviews coming !

Blackbay 58 blue if you prefer smaller watch - I just can’t wear as it’s too little for my liking.

Seiko all day long. Pelagos is boring after short period of wearing.
How anyone can like a Tudor Pelagos is beyond me 🤦🏻♂️😂
Seiko movements always do much much better than what they state. Like my mini turtle for example. It gains less than a second a day. I'm sure the MM does aswel
I prefer the blue on this to the new BB58. Gorgeous bezel insert.
Epic review as usual. I shared a video on Reddit. Hope it made a difference.
At this price point, the lack of finishing quality on the hands and dial is acceptable
I don't think so. Tudor delivers near perfection for same or less money.
@@jimx1696 AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA you must be a troll

Hola amigo me gusta mucho este reloj me encanta el lumen ni que decir me imagino que también hay en negro saludes
Seiko outdid themselves by introducing the blue option
Yes with the"X" logo looks cheap, i prefer with name MarineMaster sounds more professional!!
I suppose the question to ask yourself is if your buying a watch for an investment or your buying a watch you like , but it’s a little expensive l feel for a seiko , it’s a nice looking watch though build quality looks good.
Thank you for doing this video , as usual content is very good .
I despise the X on the dial
Great review. These are great watches. They definitely wear small and are fantastic professional tools. I agree that the Prospex X logo is a step backwards. It cheapens the look of the watch because the logo is poor (like a knock-off games console) and because there's no range separation between these truly professional watches (and LX), with the cheaper, non professional models. Good dial/hand finish for the price when you consider the finish of the case and the quality of the movement.
This does not have have the Marinemaster wording.. I find that a let down..
MM 300 is the King of all diving watches while Submariner is the king of all desk divers.
Thanks
It's heavy than Rolex Deepsea, that's crazy.
I don't agree with your assessment of the accuracy. What is stated is generally far from the actual reading when checked on a time grapher.
We should stop referring to this as a Marinemaster.. it’s now a prospex unfortunately, following in the MM design...
If it gains 15”/day you’ll arrive at your meetings early...
I just sold this watch, was just too heavy on wrist
Great watch but unfortunatly too heavy !
not keen . my seikos all have scored chrystals . time for a steinhart
If they make these at 39 diameter...then its perfect
