  • Some riders are asking what upgrades do I have on my 2022 Husky 701. So here they are!
    BTW it's my first video in english, so still have where to improve. A lot. But who cares... :))
    If you have any questions about it, please ask. I'll do my best to answer, even I'm not a mechanic at all :)

    Pretty trick looking 701. Enjoyed seeing what you’ve changed from standard 🤘🏻

    That was great ... we met recently at Outduro (Latvia). I am the Australian guy who travelled overland from Australia to Europe via Asia. My next bike will be a 701 ❤

      Hey @sritter! It was a pleasure to meet you and to hear your really extreme adventures in Afghanistan :) I hope one day I will be in Australia and we will have some adventures there :)
      And yes, I really like 701. After 17000 km no issues at all.

    You can also install a stronger water pump to reduce the risk of overheating. Cheers, Ronald!

    Well done video mate. Thank you for the links. I am going to get some of those pegs and have sent an enquiry on the seat too.
    Thanks for posting.

    Looks nice, I would only change hand guards to Cycra Pro Bend Ultra HCM and clutch to Clake One Light Clutch

    • @adventuristai
      @adventuristai  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What is the benefit of Cycra compared to original ones? Also will check Clake One Light Clutch. Looks interesting :)

      @@adventuristai I ride hard enduro, with these Cycra which has HCM mount you can take down trees and it won't move even a millimeter. Basically can forget about ever adjusting or bending them. Best upgrade ever. Clake the next best upgrade ever - effortless magical clutch pull, can use it whole day and forget about tired clutch hand. The only downside is one carbon part it has, I managed to destroy it in 2 weeks with my terror, but replaced it with a custom made metal one and zero issues since then. Both are not cheap, but I see you already paid 1200 eur for Garmin, so what is 600 more eur? :)
      btw, you dont have a twitchy front feeling in some ruts or on descents? If you do, try to move handlebars closer to you, they look to me way to much in forward position.

    Nice video! Have you considered Aurora Rally kit instead of Rade Garage?

      @@adventuristai One more question. Where did you fit the temprature sensors? You added extra or connected somewhere?
      I have Trailtech Voyager Pro and want to connect an M6 bolt sensor to coolant exiting the engine.

    Nice bike! I also have a 701 with a nav tower. I want to get the Garmin Tread like yours. Was it hard to load the Carpe Iter controller and DMD2 apps?

    • @adventuristai
      @adventuristai  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I bought from Thork racing. So DMD2 app was already installed :) But it's easy to install. You need to download APK file from DMD2 website.

    Hi ☺... can I ask you, when you fitted your Scott damper, did you have to trim the shroud for your ignition; or did you fit an aftermarket shroud instead (I can't quite see on your video!) Thanks, Steve A 👍🏼

    Many thanks. Very useful for me. I have a 701 in pretty standard form. I see that you didn’t have bar risers. I’m only 173cm in height but I find the foot pegs too high and the bars too low for longer periods of standing. Also did you do any remapping? I have installed a fuel dongle which has improved the low speed fuelling but by no means a cure. Things I can live with on an otherwise great bike. Coming from GSA/ATAS/890 most recently the light weight and skinny profile are such a revelation.

    • @adventuristai
      @adventuristai  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      my height 184. My footpegs are -3cm and -2cm backward. I have bar risers. It comes with RG tower kit. Yes, I have fuel dongle also but no remapping.

    Hi Andrus, what brand / model is the luggage tie points near your footpegs ? building up my wish list (too long to wait for the KTM 790R to be shipped back 🙂

    • @adventuristai
      @adventuristai  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      it's Kriega also. Same as my luggage. I have different size kriega bags. 3x18L, 2x12L, 1x6L.So I can switch depending on the trip :)
      Yeah... It will take a long time for bike to return home :)
