appreciate the video nice work. i did end up connecting to my phone’s hot spot and immediately was able to connect to the sites i couldn’t. so i removed my device from xfinity, restarted the gateway, and re-connected. when i did, it now connects via xfinity. hope this helps others.
Thanks for sharing this. Unfortunately, none of the methods worked for me. The first one didn’t work as the “Restart” option is greyed out, so that wasn't an option I can use. I tried all the other methods and still nothing changed or fixed my situation. So I ended up doing a System Restore to a Previous Restore Point. But the system restore did not resolve my problem either. Although, one thing did.. I reset my modem and that fixed it. I'll ty to remember that whenever internet connectivity issues arise, aside from just rebooting my pc. But it's good to have known about this.
I tried the same and it did not work for me. The solution was to disable IPv6. Control panel > Network and Sharing Centre > (click Connection name) > properties > Uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)

i tried from step one to step 4 but nothing worked out.. i later used this option and the connection was restored.. (at the top right corner of Internet Explorer), select "Internet Options". Select the "Connections" tab and click "LAN Settings". Uncheck the "Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings will not apply to dial-up or VPN connections)." tick and click "OK". this helped to resolved my problem

okay it seems it was my antivirus.. bitdefender. uninstalling it and try avast unless u have better one and free

i tried from step one to step 4 but nothing worked out.. i later used this option and the connection was restored.. (at the top right corner of Internet Explorer), select "Internet Options". Select the "Connections" tab and click "LAN Settings". Uncheck the "Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings will not apply to dial-up or VPN connections)." tick and click "OK". this helped to resolved my problem
