The "Polish threat" were prisoners who were sentenced to death in Germany, dressed in Polish uniforms, given lethal injections, brought over the Polish border, and planted there by the Gestapo to make it look like they had attacked German troops and that the German troops had killed them to defend themselves. Also, Czechoslovokia was threatened into giving up the Sudaten land. They were told, I believe by Ribbentrop, if they did not concede by midnight or something that German troops would march in and take it, even though Czechoslovokia is a soverign nation. So yea.....there was no threat to Germany by the countries that were invaded in there anywhere...
