I know this piece well. Played it in college. This is one of the best interpretations I've ever heard. And the tone. I love it!
This took my breath away! You played this piece beautifully. 👏👏
I’m a fresh man in high school and I playing this for my solo and this is a great reference. Thx homie
This performance has inspired me to try and play it myself. Thank you 1 million times for that 👌🏽👏
🤓🤓🤓
SUPER, COMPLIMENTI VIVISSIMI 👍👌👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Cordiali saluti, Anna
Much respect..... back during a time when I was playing and auditioning a lot more this was one piece I could never quite nail.... bravo
Listened to someone play this at a concert a couple years ago when I was a freshman. I'm a junior right now. After this year's solo and ensemble contest I'll be working on this and Clarinet Concerto 1, M3 of von Weber (also heard my freshman year) to wrap up my senior year with my two favorite solo's that made me want to major in music performance. Excellent recording, makes me really excited to learn this.
Good for you,I hope your doing well so far!!!
@@davidmartinez6204 Thank you! I’m actually performing it in a month 😬😄
how did it go king
the tone is absolutely phenomenal
I just finished my solo this year as a freshman in high school, and my teacher gave me this the first lesson after the competition, and just said “you got this. I believe in you, champ”
I got this piece for bass clarinet, I’m jealous of the way that you sound!
YESSS!!!!! Bravo maestro!!!
Awesome performance I’m playing this my sophomore year
Magnífico mestre!
🎼YESSSS. Formidable maestro.
Fantastic.👏🏽
AMAZING!!!
Bravo, maestro!
I'm entering 3rd year in musical college and that's my new academic exam program, I hope I can handle it, because it sounds pretty hard but also really beautiful. And your performance is great as always😃
Super as always congratulations
For a solo with so much greatness its end seems so weird.
Grandissimo Maestro
Perfect tone
Beautiful playing! Are you still playing on your crystal mouthpiece & Legere Reeds? Bravo
Fantastico!!!
Yesss!!!
I'm interested in the Corrado Signature Bb Mouthpiece but have questions: 1) Why doesn't it have a cork according to the website pictures? 2) What Vandoren mouthpiece is it closest to? I haven't played in 32 years and was looking to get back into it because my daughter is learning. I'm used to the 5RVlyre and B45 but I always had problems with notes past high E (past high C). Thanks!
Amazing!! I love your videos!!!!!
Great !!!
Super!
Bravo!!👏👏👏
I was supposed to play this piece for solo ensemble during my high school time in 2020, but got canceled before I fully knew this piece.
Bravooooooo😭😭😭😭🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓👍👍👍👍👍🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Beautiful
Just wondering, any reason for tonguing down in m. 4 line 2 of the last page before fine? Starting on the high D natural.
just showing off
Has pensado tocar algo de Julián Menéndez o de Miguel Yuste? Los conoces?
Played this in high school for state. Obviously not to this level 😂 but takes me back
wow..I know a guy from my school who is 15 and will play this at the Olympiade
i wonder what fingering for the high F before the high G just before Fine
Amazing,🤤🤤👏
👏👏❤️🔥
Excelente. Felicitaciones
Is it me or the second movement ( 1:24 ) seems heavily inspired by Liszt "Un Sospiro"? Same tonality, lookalike melody and same base
AMAZING!!! But why were people laughing at the end🤔
Because I was playing the last note with LH and the RH cut the corona at the end !!
@@CorradoGiuffredi What is cut the corona?
Se mi isolo tanto per imparare , mia moglie cosa direbbe ? .........dovrei cambiarla con una che ama la musica ....per suonare insieme ( come fa Stoltzman ).
2:21 Sounds like Joe Hisaishi's Merry Go Round of Life from Howl's Moving Castle
👏👏👏👏👏👏
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
😮😮
✨✨✨👏👏👏👏
haha... i have to play this... im scared...
Io no parle italiano

@@AnamobisThgirb the website says hes 2nd not 1st or did the guy who originally got first cheat or something i noticed he got removed
@@qekruxt5089 I'm pretty sure the guy who got first either had alcohol or went to a girl's room
@@fiyin0 regardless, that guy is still spoiled and privileged. ive seen videos of him playing with his golden-plated clarinet. im salty
😂biensur ce n'est pas du tout écrit en italien😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Stunning, as one would expect of the great maestro. Everything is saved by the ridiculously magnificent playing of the Allegro Vivo. (It's a shame about the decidedly unpretty sound (and intonation!) on the beautiful Andante theme.)
Imagine playing 3/5ths of a soprano sax
casey shen theme song
Executed the cadenza much too quickly. Sounded like you were in a rush to get it over with. Otherwise, good job.

Yoooo David I’m subbed to u! Ur awesome!
@@jeremiahlevoy3435 he has no content on his socials now lol
@@qekruxt5089 I’m what happened lol
@ahlevoy3435 decided to delete everything after figuring that he got to the level he's at only by being spoiled? he probably got those clarinets as birthday presents. i remember being so desperate to get the clarinet model he has (an R13) as a high school senior for TMEA but i never got one and never qualified. i noticed he was never able to give advice to people who wanted to know how he got his tone quality so yeah...
@@qekruxt5089 honestly in my opinion you can’t rlly give advice on tone quality bc it’s different for everybody and so what if he has an r13 that doesn’t make a big difference on if you make it, if your good enough u can make a bad clarinet sound good. My state is rlly competitive and I made a state and I use a resonite model. So womp womp ig
