The Czt`s seats have poor support??Thats crazy! i have a colt CZT and its seats are great, perfect support! And it is 1,5 compared to 1,8 and 2,0 that means cheaper road tax and it comes with the best standart equipment and it is the fastest, i get times 0-100kph 7,5 seconds and the suspension is softer for bumpy roads.The CZT is the best little hot hatch u can have, seriously!

My CZT is comfy as any car I've tried to far and comfier than many.

A couple of things:
1. All of these cars make 150hp and the Fiesta unless I’m mistaken is the lightest.... yet you accuse it of being too slow compared to the others?????
2. How shit is your driver to get 8.5 sec 0-60 out of the ST?? Factory claims 7.9 and most decent drivers can get mid 7’s out of a stock ST.
3. Of course the German car wins.... on a German program 🤔
4. To claim the ST sounds annoying is a bit rich coming from that voice.
Also, the VW dash is more plasticky than the Ford so that’s that.

I Have the Fiesta ST in silver with 18,000 miles on a 07 from new and now I've ordered a new ST in white! Cant wait!
Mitsubishi fan all the way but the Fiesta ST is fucking amazing. Same with the Focus ST. Fords really kicking ass on their euro market cars. Now if only the europeans could get their hand on a mustang we could have a cool mustang :P

I had one, it was a catastrophy. Mitsubishi is starting to becoming something it wasn't for 15 years. I could testimony that a Lada is more reliable that my Colt. And the aftersale of Mitsubishi remembers me of Nazi Germany in WW2.

@NeilMag83 czt is more tunable and generally cheaper to tune cz it is a turbo...
Small hot hatch is about driving. Best handling, brakes, feelings from drive you can have ONLY in Fiesta ST. Engine in Fiesta is weak with bad sound in high rpms?? Hmm. Drugs are bad buddy....

@panaprod I believe the now removed comment was based on the CZT being more tunable, not cheaper initially to tune.
The polo gti is a boring car... you don't feel like you're connected to the car while driving it... It fails to stir the soul as someone used to say.
i had polo gti, now i have fiesta st and theres no compares, fiesta is just wayyy better
Another one who is blinkered buy straight line speed and traffic light GP's (Yawn) stick some simple mod's on a EP3 then race. Either way Standard vs Modified pointless, granted it's a good Hot Hatch and is quicker than the ST by a margin and it's well built and reliable, well some I've seen head gasket trouble, but that's where it end's
I have an ST. The Polo GTI is good but stil think the ford is better. And if this guy doesnt like the sound of the Fiesta in high gears then he clearly a hot hatch isnt for him. It aint that loud. An id recommend it :) its a quality Car
So the Ford is the best, hence VW is the winner??? The German Automobile Manufacturers' Union keeps their "journalists" very well oiled, as usual.
I had a ride in one and yes, for a tiny engine it sounds really good!

@steroid25 u guys dont know nothing about the CZT...i have only a remap i am at about 200 ps and i am with EVO`s and STI`s...You can see for example in you tube various vids 230ps czt with 320ps leon cupra... czt vs 1st stage sti.. czt beating 0-400 civic type-r and so on....
Yeah all well and good, stick a turbo on the fiesta and it will blitz both the colt and the vw. Whilst I love the St its typical of most performance ford's in terms of it needs more power. Vauxhall are different lots of power and a shit chassis. I like most hot hatches they are nimble, fun to drive and not too thirsty and a damn sight easier to park.
Simon John Hinton - good comment bro you obviously know your oats. I'm a general car enthusiast over here in New Zealand, I'm a truck mechanic by trade. Rode motorcycles for a decade during the '80s until I had my near-death motorcycle accident in 1990 when I was 26 - it cost me my entire left leg, hip joint, and left side of my pelvis, plus I suffered numerous other internal injuries as well. V fortunate to survive. Ever since I have suffered the strongest nerve/neural/neuroma pain around where surgeons operated and believe me the pain is both indescribable and can be farking strong/intense - controlled by a cocktail of the strongest legally prescribed pain meds and exercise/diet etc. I was born pretty much a petrol head...as soon as my father knew I was capable of operating his reel motor mower I was mowing lawns - though he never allowed me to cut the edges...I didn't have the patience for that kinda crap anyway. Life to me has always been about speed & power. Simple philosophy I'd have thought really. Fart-assing around in an office was never going to be my career. I totaled a chain trike that was a hand-me-down from my older sister. Power-slides were my favorite trick - however after buckling both rear wheels to write-off level my father decided he would teach me a lesson and so he hung the chain trike from the rafters of his garage so that when I looked in the garage for it - I glanced up to see it hanging from the rafters completely out of my reach. Now I wasn't ever the sharpest knife in the drawer - but I could never fully understand why my father did that...even now at 55 I still can't - but I know one thing - whatever he was trying to achieve - it didn't work. Back to the topic before I bore you to sleep. My wife and I drive our 2009 Mazda 3 SP25 Limited and while at first I thought it was quite a peppy hatch - now it simply bores me. It's greatest asset is its Bose sound system. I'd love to trade it on a VW Golf GTi, or a BMW 130i hatch with the 3.0L straight 6cyl - I really like the rear wheel drive too. I also like the Audi A3 with the 2.0L turbo engine (same as in the Golf GTi) and 4x4 drive. I have a soft spot for the Toyota Blade Master G however apparently it doesn't do high speed cornering well at all and so that's a definite no go for me. Love my cars to stick to road like glue when high - well let's settle for higher speed cornering - that is a must. I've heard anecdotally the Golf GTi is a little stiff on the open road...hmmm. One thing about our Mazda 3 SP25 Ltd is the unbelievably loud cabin noise from the front driving on the open road - and of course the more coarse the chip on the road - the louder it becomes...thank heaven for smooth asphalt!
only issue I have the ST is not all them are the full fat 150bhp
some of them are are quite a bit down, was the same with the Focus ST170, some were well above 160, some barely cracked 140.
Shop around and find a fit 150.
avoid the dogs.

I had the Fez I'd choose the Fiesta ST for the handling but just has no punch when you put your foot down which to me and mostly town driving matters alot, I have now bought a colt ralliart handling isn't as good but it kicks ass on the speed much faster.
Lol the Fez blows the other two out of the water! If you are that bothered about the power and stuff you can buy the 180bhp tuning pack from pumasport for about £3000 which would make the fiesta the fastest of the three too. I see no loss in that and that's what im going to do. Im saving for the 200bhp pack
£400 remap on the colt got me 200bhp with no other supporting modifications lol

So just pay 1500 pound extra and make the fiesta 185hp by Mountune and try again
Where is the Suzuki Swift Sport. Its the best of all these three put together
very baised reporting the germans always favor german cars (i know it because im german) the polo is really the worst out of all the fiesta is in stock form already great suited for sporty driving and even a trackday and there are plenty of aftermarket performamce parts for it. the colt only lacks in suspension but thats easy to fix and also you can easy gain good amounts of power and its very robust. the polo is the most expencive one out of all of them, the ugliest looking, the most unexciting and 100kg heavier then the other ones and also doesnt have a good suspension for sport driving. the 1,8 turbo can be modified to roughly 200 hp tho (if it holds up is another thing) btw. nowadays they all cost around the same between 2500 and 4000€ so with the fiesta the financial loss is thr least.
I left one for dust at the lights last night. I had 2 other mates in the cars while the ST had just 2 passengers. Once Lift kicked in I was gone. FORD= Yankee crap
Reason is because it's De-Tuned from the factory, Also the ST is a drivers machine such a commutative car it's a joy!, your VVTL-i engined Corrola or Celica are dull to drive and uninspiring

Andrei Bran More reliable too , I’ve had a Colt for 12 years now no major issues , have owned a Polo in the past and had gearbox failure and fuel leaks , as for the Fiesta that’s just a Fiesta with a Mondeo engine lol

Cheers, sounds good but for now as a first car I don't think I'll be focusing on anything nippy or in a higher insurance group😅 I do know there's a Ford Fiesta flame 1.2 that looks quite nice and they are very cheap.

119nm of torque for the ST, I'm sure it has more than 87 ft-lb somehow.
i know this comes late but he said 190nm. i have a fiesta st with 220.000 km on the clock and had it on a dyno it had 156hp with 193nm just with an open airfilter and that engine is very good its the same as in the mazda mx5 nc and was also used by lotus and caterham for the elise and super seven. with some tuning you get these engines to around 200 hp and 8000rpm plus they are super solid
funny how the germans are the only ones to think the german car is the best, the rest of the world recognise that the st is the superior car, and i'm a VAG fan =P

I have a fiesta st and the handling is amazing, and the breaks are top the only thing i dont like is the build quality as it could be better. i still wouldnt swap it for the polo or the shit little czt, that mitsubishi looks horrid.

Hey guys remember the st is naturaly aspirated.I own a fiesta with the same 2.0 litre motor with aftemarket turbo kit and and free flow exhaust not something crazy done but you feel the changes done.I have left behind a bunch of more powerful cars like s3,rx7 etc

Why you lie??? If you drive a vvtl-i car properly you'll find them so addictive. Pulls like a train when its on cam. With a few simple mods its faster than a stock ep3. GIMP!

@@ghost_535 had it for like 8 years.. very reliable car. Only problem that needs an aftermarket suspension and the gearbox can't stand a lot of power..

the fiesta st take 7.9 seconds to hit 62mph (100kph) so this is wrong... my st standard done it in 7.3secs recorded at 0-60 fair, not with 320bhp supercharged engine does it in 6.1... nothing wrong with that! :)

I had the Mitsubishi Colt 1.3 Invite. It was a nightmare of reliabily ! The first things start to break at 60'000 and it was a continuous catastrophy until 160'000km. I sold it at 168'000 after lethal motor explosion. I'm a careful driver, not a sporty one.
My parents are looking for a car and have had their eyes on the Colt. I've talked them into the Fiesta or Suzuki Swift. Strange, reviews have talked positively about Mitsubishi's realiability but I've read numerous comments from owners that tell the complete opposite. Always better to know from people with firsthand experience. Thanks

Fiesta ST takes 8.5 seconds to reach 100kmph (62mph)? It's 7.9 seconds to 60mph. Seems inaccurate at best.

The Fiesta ST literally the worst hot hatch ever made , the metal is something Fiat would be proud of it rises so fast , the Engine is from a Mondeo and the alloys just look wrong , the Focus ST and RS are miles better
