- A couple of my subscribers asked me how I would make Mirror Placemats... Here is my design. I hope you enjoy and have fun creating...
Items Used:
Large Mirrors from Dollar Tree (Gold Frames)
Felt Pads (Dollar Tree)
Gems (multi size and colors)
Silver Glitter - Medium Flakes
Dollar Tree Diamond Wrap
Mod Podge
3M painters tape
Adhesive (I used 3 N 1 Quick Dry Glue)
Sponge brush

I never would have thought to use mirrors for placemats. They turned out beautiful. I love them.

Great idea thanks for the tutorial, but I’m going to stick posterboard on the bottom of the mirror to make it a little more sturdier and then decorate around the edge... thanks for the idea👍🏽🥰

I L-O-V-E-D IT! I did them for my daughter's housewarming gift and I bought regular plate mats and cut them down to the size of the mirror and glue them to the bottom, then add Diamondwrap around the side Thank you so much for always sharing

These turned out very nice. Last week youtuber Maylik Davis DIY'd some beautiful Glass placemats and I just told my husband that I think I may do the mirrored placemats for our Christmas table setting 😊 so TFS!

Great idea Sharon! Recently I purchase round shaped mirrors to make placemats. I found all my items except what put under the mirror.. I like your idea of the felt pieces under the mirror as well the bling strip on the edges. THAT LOOKS LIKE FUN! Thank you

Very pretty! Using a Charger should take care of the worry regarding heat from a plate. FYI, extreme temperatures can cause hot glue to let go. Very good choice using Beakins 3-1.
