Items used: 1/2 inch plywood measuring 52" X 15"
3 shelves 12 1/2" X 5"
3 12 1/2 X 5" mirrors for shelves ( custom cuts available at Lowes)
Four 12 X 12 mirrors (available at Ikea or Lowes)
1 inch mirrors for perimeter of shelves (13 packs of 10 available Joann Fabric)
Mirror glue
1/2 inch moulding for perimeter
Cap moulding for front of shelves
Screws, Drill,miter saw or miter box.

UNBELIEVABLE.......!!! AMAZING. You just gave me a great idea. Ikea has a all glass enclosed curio cabinet the same size or a little large. I will put mirrors on top of each glass shelf. Wish I could send a picture once completed

For future reference you can sand down the mirror edges make sure you use a little bit of water when sanding to keep any glass particles from flying you can even use an electric sander with low grid paper. I did my night stands also bought the mirrors from Lowes and the edges were a little sharp the sander did the job.

Great project, very beautiful 😄. I was thinking for edge of the mirror that didn't come out to your liking. Just sand them down the next time. I remember years back when doing my ceiling making glass tiles I didn't always cute them even and I would sand them down.... Hope this may help you. Great job!!😄

I would have painted the edges of shelves silver first and it would of been way easier!

Nia Shae I think she mentioned that she wanted the edges to be mirrored. it wasn't until she got to that part of the project that she kind of had to problem solve and go a different direction.
