People talk v6 engines down so bad. I have two full size pickups, and both are running six cylinders. The 3.5 non turbo in my 15 does excellent and the 300 in my 86 is a absolute horse. I’ve owned v8 pickups in the past, and I’m not against them in any way, but the only benefit I could find between my six cylinders and the v8 engines are a deeper exhaust note. As long as the option is available and I get to have my choice, I’ll stick with the 6 cylinders, and yes, I will continue to modify the exhaust.
Charlotte NC here. I go to Nashville area 3 - 4 Times a Year. The Next time I change out my exhaust system, I will be stopping by your shop. I just had a MBRP dual exhaust system install. I like it. Next Year I may make a change and go see you.
Kinda reminds me of the old 300i6 with true duals or 4.2 v6. Just higher pitched at high rpm. Seems like all these newer ovhead cam 6 cylinders have a really trumpets sound at higher rpm.
That's because they all have valve overlap over a certain RPM or under heavy acceleration they switch to overlapping cam timing. Or they're turbocharged, in either case, they do get substantially louder above 3500-4000 RPM. It's kinda funny to listen to people complain that the V6 options are not enough, even though they're substantially more powerful than any V8 you could get in a pickup just 20 years ago.
I personally would’ve went with 2.5 inch all the way back. I’m just not a fan of 2.25 inch exhaust on a V6. And those tips are way too big. But it’s his truck so more power to him. And from a Navy submarine veteran, thank you for your service. 👍
Wondering which part of Louisiana that truck is from. I live around Lafayette, Louisiana. I watched many videos before I bought my muffler. Bought one that sounded nice, from these videos
even though some of this sounds funny, the exhaust work is always awesome so i always like, it sounded great on startup but at the end of the day its a v6 with a can lol
It meant to say I have family members that's got the 3.5% and they've had lots of problems with the turbos and all leaks and seal problems and the vehicle just driving down the road and it dies on them me personally I'm never had had one so I can't talk s*** about them I just you know I like that sound just most 3.5s just don't sound right with with pipes on it but nice truck that one actually sounded pretty good it just I've heard a lot of bad stuff about the two sevens and the three fives but I would be willing to buy one without turbos
Want it to sound as it should? Stock Cats into a Flowmaster Scavenger X- pipe into the Outlaws with axle-back resonators. Otherwise another F-150 sounding not very good, really.
Well on all that I'm not sure I've had some old forts I like them I've been thinking about you know but maybe you're 2015 long story short I've got family with the three points I know three of people with them and even at the dealership that's the problem with those EcoBoost to make the sales real cheap and your poorly made of so I'm not sure nice truck tho
I have a 5.0 coyote in my Mustang, however this v6 in my F150xlt single cab is all i need to pull my fishhouse, sleds, and boat, but i'm sure you have a lot of nice stuff. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@TheEnd-eg6wq I put exhaust on mine. But a quiet exhaust with a different resonator. I agree I don't want it loud. But a little more aggressive then stock is nice.

it sounds like a swarm of angry bees. i love it
Everyone loves to talk sh*t about how a vehicle sounds, if the owner likes it who cares.
Yeah

Is that a 350z in that truck?!

I wonder if the cylinder bank angle and cam configuration contribute to that

On one video you left resonator on and this video you took it off. Please explain…

X-PIPE TIME‼️🤙
That’s not an ecoboost right? Sounds too loud to be a turbo v6
You are correct its not a ecoboost its actually a 3.7l not a 3.5l but they are very similar
@Dennis Burger I maybe wrong, but If it's not an ecoboost. Then it's actually a 3.3 liter V6.
@@Fuzzler77 the 3.3 V6 was the base engine for the facelifted version, not for the pre-facelift version
No the 3.5 ecoboost doesn’t come in a rcsb
They're both 3.5 ecoboost or not, very available information online to non owners, or easy info to owners of them.
2016 xl v6 non ecoboost.
Fits?
Have you tried it?

Sounds better then the ecoboost 3.5 lol but anything does lol
in my shitty citty called toronot cops got nothing better to do but pull guys over with these type of pipes

I think it sounds good and good quality work
How much was It

Get a broken 3.5na and do a 3.7 swap. N/A so still reliable

Sounds like grandpa ripping a fart
LOL
Lol 😂
Sounded good until it was revved
Fart fart brrrap brrap🤮. Great looking exhaust though!
Sounds like a tuba
It needs a CROSSOVER!! Ugh, true duals without a crossover is a waste of time on ANY modern V6 or V8!
Agreed needs a h pipe and high flow cats
It has way too much rasp. I did a MBRP exhaust on the 3.7 and it sounds much better than this.
Oooo 😁
Nice
That is great at 120

The best sounding exhaust for a V-6...stock. Please, we don't want to hear that.
sounded like a v8 when he started it until he revved it
I will stick with my 5.0
I like the 3.5 na but doesn't need a dual exhaust.
really isn’t that bad! debating on doing it to my 3.5 ecoboost.
I would prefer a super 10 flowmaster
Wont matter it will all sound like a fart
Get super 10s instead, it will sound better
Get the most restricted exhaust you can get.
this isn't an Ecoboost
Sounds like a quife
What is a quife?
thats a 3.7 na
Isn't it a 16 though
Wrong! The 3.7 was discontinued for the f150s in 2015! The 3.7 was moved to the transits
5 inch tips... LOL
You paid for non functional shiny.
I dont like It 😕
That thing needs two 24" resonators.......true duals sound like total crap on newer vehicles!
You should hear It in person
🤮🤮🤮
