This was beautiful. Nobody carries the legacy of excellence in marching band like NOLA, it runs deep in the generations. Someone commented that these musicians will go on to the collegiate level and play in the same band and that is so true. That will be the defining experience that drives home the point of New Orleans being 'The Sparta' of marching bands. Our Musicianship spreads across the country.
The Human Jukebox won. A number of these very talented musicians will end up there playing together. So glad to see the N.O. get their bands all the way back!!! Louisiana Rules the band world.
No the Aug is NOT too big.. in fact they're still very small. from their Original size. the Aug is the ONLY PreKatrina Band,, and what the Aug seem to be doing is, Getting back to their PreKatrina size and power/sound.. Now. If the Aug manage to do this. No Band in New Orleans will stand a chance against them. as these Post Katrina Band, are smaller and weaker than PreKatrina and Sound more like PreKatrina Middle school bands. so they better Hope the Aug do not fully get back to their PreKatrina status, which they seem to be trying to do. If they do, It's all over for these other bands. Btw. i never went to the Aug. I went to the school of their #1 Rival

St.Aug took the W LW put up a good fight but aug was to strong every song they brought power walker can't last that long cause they try to hard to blow out st.aug plus they had to bring out there football and basketball championship teams to get browine points lets be real that still didn't save them
