It's so good to know how things work in UK, I have seen so many US ones and it felt like it wasn't very good for me to expect what they do over there. I am going to check if the bath is available at my hospital!
Just came across this video as I'm in my first trimester expecting our first baby and I've been looking for a real, well explained labour. I feel so clueless right now, reading so many books and things online, but real experiences are so much more helpful. Thank you for this! I've also just seen you are a British military wife, and I am an army wife 🙂
I’m currently 2 days overdue 😕 this video has made me feel more at ease for the birth (when he/she finally decides to make an appearance) it’s much harder finding positive birth stories, you always hear about the traumatic ones! Great video 😊 x
@@MrsTino thanks 😊 yes it really is!! It went fine thanks, the first few days with her were really hard though, much harder than I expected it was just so overwhelming! 🙈 but we’re getting there... I think! 😆 xx
This is absolutely the best birth video I have every seen!!! You were so true and honest about everything honestly I wish we were friends haha. What a lovely person and lovely mum you are. Thank you for this lovely video, I’m 19+5 and this video was a breath of fresh air. A million times thank you!!! 💗
Oh my God, this was amazing to listen to! What did you eat/ do on the day or day before! I’m so curious and pray for a fast labour - this is amazing! Congratulations I’m just seeing this 🤍🙏🏼
So lovely to hear your positive experience. So incredibly similar to my first birth - also baby Sophia! I have since had 2 more including home birth, both very positive also. So much fear surrounding birth and so fantastic to alleviate it for others by telling your story 💖
I’m currently 8 weeks pregnant and have my booking in appointment on Wednesday over the phone :) just want to know how things look like with the current uk climate! Thank you in advanced for your video!
Aww you're welcome! 😊 No doubt things will change again (hopefully for the better!) By the time your little squidge makes their arrival. Hope everything is going well 💗
She wanted sports socks like the little ankle ones... white ones happened to be on the top and I was in bit of a rush 🤣 plus she took them off anyway so it made zero difference. They were maybe on her feet for 2 hours max 😂 with everything else going on im shocked she even cared 🙄 typical!
So pleased you had a lovely positive birth! I’m due soon and you’ve made me feel a lot calmer about it all ☺️ What do you think helped your labour to be so quick? X
Aww I'm so glad sweetie 🥰 you'll absolutely smash it, don't worry! I'm honestly not sure why it was so quick - and people tell me the next one will come even quicker 😂 (might be opting for a home birth next time) xx
I loved hearing your story! I totally understand that feeling giving birth I had my first baby on the 12/02/21 was in labour for 20 hours and ended up having an emergency c section! X
Just to ask, you mentioned previously your baby was back to back… did you manage to turn them before labour? Currently 39 weeks with a back to back baby and terrified of a long and painful labour!!
Uhmm, I guess it's dependable.. but I feel like your mind is a massive part of the process so the calmer you are, the better and more positive the experience 🥰
No need to apologise. Not everyone likes swearing I know, but it's unfortunately how I am so I'm sorry you found this to be negative. That isn't the intention.
Brilliant story! Thanks for sharing x
I absolutely love your storytelling. I’m so pleased you had a positive and quick birth. This makes me excited for when I’m due in 3 months

Luckyyyyyyyyy. Are the chances of having a positive birth rare or dependable?
