The 7 string pick up can also give it a bit more bass response, given the lower end poll piece and it being wound to support the heavier string. I'd recommend it- but only on a body you don't care about or one that you make on your own!

ESP has a two year backlog on custom orders at the moment and won’t accept new custom orders (according to sweetwater) I hope it’s not because they are busy making crap like this, especially when all I want is a few small deviations from what they offer on their configurator.
It's because a lot of people want custom guitars, and we have very high standards and it takes time to create each one by hand with a limited number of qualified master luthiers. Thanks for your patience!
