Quite good, though I am disappointed to have been omitted from the credits for providing narration in this. I will give fair judgement in that it was presumably an accident, but it did feel a little disheartening when the voice cast credits stopped with no mention of my name present. That being said, it was a lovely production. Somehow, you made a story that flicks between gentle slow paced conversation and face paced cinematography work very well!
@@IsraeliGovernment That's ok, thank you for the apology. Hope I don't come off as an arsehole for that. It genuinely doesn't take away from how legitimately good the overall production is
Well there's only like 10 people that make actually good stories, and only like 2 of them don't use custom fan made characters as a main character or secondary, so wonderful stories that use characters in the franchise in a story that isn't a retelling of another are rare, and today we were given the wonderful opportunity to listen to one.
How about no more ideas from Gordon? I thought this was going to be a story where Sir Handel gets revenge on Gordon for giving him the idea to pretend to be ill for the cause of Peter Sam's funnel breaking.
I love this so much it's so in character "The Roll & Rock-et" would've been such a good name too but I think "The Rick & Roll Rocket" works just as well :3
I know Sir Handel is like this because of the closer of the Mid Sodor and Duke being put in the shed, but letting it out on Others, and especialy calling The Thin Controller a Tyrant is not right,in Duke's words "that would never suit his Grace",and you know what i find it funny,is that Sir Handel continue to lisen to Gordon even after Peter Sam's accident, with luck, this will show Sir Handel not to lisen to what Gordon says.
This was a pretty nice story to watch. It's amazing how perfect the voices fits all these characters. The music and editing, along with models and sets was pretty good too. I love how this would be nice part 2 of "Trucks!" . I'll be honest, I think everyone who has been a part of this video, did a great performance through this video. Great job!
Absolutely brilliant work: love the humourous yet grounded elements of the story, and how it still feels like something out of the original books. Superb job all round!
1:03 and 10:03 I’ve always wondered this, why are there no buffers at the end of the tracks? Is it to make it easier for cargo to be loaded from standard gauge to narrow gauge or something?
Well, think of it like this, if the narrow gauge railway orders a new engine or some new rolling stock, it’ll be delivered by the standard gauge railway, right? That platform lets the narrow gauge engine or wagons to be offloaded straight onto the rails. Without it, they’d need an extra line beside the standard gauge line for a crane, and it’d take a much longer time with a lot more effort.
It looks like the only way to access that area is via the small turntable. So I'm guessing either they'd move the trucks one by one onto it and the men would push them onto the siding themselves, or Rusty/Fred just go really slow. But like has been said, it's probably easier for delivery to just not have them.
This is one of the best storys I've seen in a long time I loved all of it! It was great seeing an explanation for Gordons role in Trucks! More Gordon and Sir Handel content is always awesome! Also, I love how Sir Handels plan backfired so badly
May I ask, do you know the name of the music that plays at the beginning of this video. I know it's from Wallace and Gromit but I can't find exactly what theme it is or what episode it's from.
Yeee!!! I was looking forward to this, and is was well worth the wait! ...one of these days, my boy's gotta learn to stop shoving his special wheels in his mouth ^^;
Well he did lost his old railway and he fears that he may have lost Duke, other that Peter Sam,Sir Handel thinks he can't trust anyone, not even the Thin Controler,he thinks that Gordon is the only one he can trust,Sir Handel is taking his Anger and Frustration out on everyone, including the Controler, all because the two thing he had for a home and a mentor were taken away from him.
I love how the first thing Sir Handel says after Gordon asked him what happened was “diesels.” He never learns his lessons, and I love that. Where’s the music at the end from btw?
This was pretty good! The voice acting and visuals were outstanding! Definitely worth the wait from when you originally announced this. I love how Sir Handel tries time and time again to get into the triple digits for a speed despite having full knowledge of being a narrow gauge engine. And he gets his comeuppance at attempting to do so. That little interaction between he and Peter Sam was also pretty funny. My only criticisms are that the sound effects are sometimes too loud compared to the dialogue and the audio "panning" (i think that's what it's called) is a little too fast occasionally. Also, if you need another voice actor for a future video, hit me up I'd love to take on a role or two! Overall, a very nice lil' film here!
I could only imagine what Mr. Percival might've said to Sir Handel after his accident. Mr. Percival: I warned you to be careful! And now not only have you caused trouble for our railway, but the North Western Railway too! Sir Handel: I am sorry, sir. Mr. Percival: You should be! Because now, Rusty has to run the railway all on his own. But he can't do your work or do track maintenance all at the same time. (sigh) We need another engine! And I suppose we all know who that "another engine" is, don't we? Here's a hint: someone who loves to "rock n' roll" along the line.
The crash was so good and it’s cool you got some very good voice actors in too! Sir Handel should really stop listening to Gordon, he gives horrible advice!
Just looked into it. The overall record is 245 kph (152 mph), set on a South African railway in 1978. But that was on a 3 ft 6 in railway with an electric locomotive.
Gordon giving Sir Handel bad advice for 11 minutes and other stories. How about no more advice from him ever again? I thought this was going to be a story where Sir Handel gets revenge on Gordon for giving him the idea to pretend to be sick for the cause of Peter Sam's funnel getting damaged. Did you reskin Sir Handel's crew gray for the closeup shots? Joey Turner will forever have the most funniest and bratiest voice for Sir Handel... 😂 For some reason I'm missing Ravenshire Works' Rusty's eyelid loads after downloading him. Dont know if you have them.
Originally, I did consider Duncan, but he received his getting over Rusty and Diesels arch in 'Rock and Roll'. Sir Handel doesn't entirely hate diesels I'd like to think, he just talks to Gordon too much, who can sway his opinion easily.

You did a wonderful job
"great going, you clumsy engine!"
- the DRIVER of said engine
i guess a poor workman always blames his tools 😂
This is completely in-character for Sir Handel, so I'm a bit surprised that no one else thought of this sooner!
Well there's only like 10 people that make actually good stories, and only like 2 of them don't use custom fan made characters as a main character or secondary, so wonderful stories that use characters in the franchise in a story that isn't a retelling of another are rare, and today we were given the wonderful opportunity to listen to one.
I like how it provides an explanation of Gordon's position in "Trucks", in that he was undergoing overhaul.
How about no more ideas from Gordon?
I thought this was going to be a story where Sir Handel gets revenge on Gordon for giving him the idea to pretend to be ill for the cause of Peter Sam's funnel breaking.
Sir Handel: Too soon?
Peter Sam:...... Yeah. Too soon.

He certainly gave duncan a run for his money
Sir handel my beloved :)
I guess Peter Sam isn't a proper engine, according to Sir Handel. Such a goof of a moment for the cheeky bastard.

That crash sequence at the end!!! The abrupt cuts to different perspectives and a whistle we haven't heard yet really seals the drama
I love how the gap is filled between Trucks and A Bad Day for Sir Handel. This could be an extra story in Four Little Engines.
This was very good everyone did a good job both the writing and dialogue was brilliant
the techno trouser fits amazingly

Sir Handel needs to watch where he's going next time.
Sir Handel: Wow, that's a stupid joke. I still hate my f#cking life.
This was very great, marvelous work to everyone involved!!
thank you!!
10:25 that's gonna leave a mark...
I could imagine what the narrow-gauge controller might've said to Sir Handel after that.
Me too. I wish if Sir Handel model has a crash reskin like this.
Great story, feels like the rws
Sir handel was awestruck at the fact gordon breaks 100
Nice work on this!! I love the use of the RWS engine model you used for Gordon! :D
Amazing work as always this was a very well done story of Sir Handel loved the part stop talking of mentioning Peter Sam's funnel.
WOOO YEAH BABY! THATS WHAT I’VE BEEN WAITIN FOR, THATS WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT! WOOOOOOOOO

you do a great sir handel voice and I love it, joey.
Why can’t Sir Handel listen to common sense? But always end up in hilarious situations.
Wow and I thought Duncan was the only one who can do rock n roll
Wow. Sir Handle won’t stop until he gets whatever he wants, does he? Also, is that the RWS Gordon model? Of it is, then that model looks marvelous.

Ngl I could barely hear the va playing Gordon at times, especially when the express train thundered past.
Great video Man!
Ace work!
Great casting and funny story. Only one gripe. Wouldn't Duck have been more 'anti-diesel' given what happened with Diesel?
Well, you could argue this takes place after Edward’s exploit and at this time duck had met BoCo so his view on diesels improved.
Clever use of Cuphead music!
I wonder how close Sir Handel came to breaking the record.
What's the tune playing on the radio while Gordon is being maintained? The scene before Scotsman comes speeding by.
Sir Handel never listens
Brilliant
totally forgot I recorded lines wtf lol
lmfao

The crash was so good and it’s cool you got some very good voice actors in too! Sir Handel should really stop listening to Gordon, he gives horrible advice!
how come sir handel in the thumbnail is in his tvs livery?
His voice is so high-pitched, its like unatural but i like it!
I love this man!
Fantastic :)
thank you!
Good uses of music from Wallace and gromit
Joey Turner/ Jasper Pie as sir handel is amazing. He really does capture his annoying voice and raspy nature.

Sir Handel doesn't entirely hate diesels I'd like to think, he just talks to Gordon too much, who can sway his opinion easily.
@@IsraeliGovernment but this takes place before rock n roll meaning duncan would still have a prejudice against diesels.
forgive me if i already asked but do you take ideas for episodes yes or no?
I'm sorry for asking but what map do you use for your videos?
Gordon was such a racist towards diesels back then
Before he met BoCo
