Thanks for the preview of Aperty.
Luminar NEO would be a must have if it also included all the options required for portraiture and not stand alone Aperty.
Basis Aperty previewed options, Portrait Pro Studio has more options plus separate left/right sliders too.
Aperty seems like a smaller package of Evoto.

Thanks for sharing, I appreciate your insight!
I agree about NEO, it is an excellent all around program, but Aperty is great if you specialize in portraiture.
I have used Portrait Pro Studio in the past and liked the results. Unfortunately, I always had to do my main editing in another program and then send it to Portrait Pro for retouching. I really appreciate being able to do everything within one program by using Aperty.
Evoto is a very good program too, I like the new tethering capabilities and distractions removal feature. Some don't like that it is cloud based or their credits and subscriptions plans, but those are not big negatives for me. I think the Evoto team is creating a fantastic tool for photographers.
Bottom line > There are numerous excellent tools available for photographers, and I intend to showcase them to this community, allowing everyone to determine the most suitable options for their needs. It is crucial to find the right tools for your workflow.

In what world do you live? PhotoShop, Lightroom, Luminar Neo, Capture One, DXO PhotoLab, Affinity Photo, Photo AI etc. all do work on raw photos. This is an application created for professional photographers. Is it useful to address us as if we were 5yr olds?
But thanks for the demonstration. I was looking for an overview now that the application is available.

Thanks for the comment! It lets me know that I wasn't very clear when I said it was the only retouching program I know of that handles RAW files and gives you all of the camera profiles too.
You are correct that programs like PhotoShop, Lightroom, Luminar Neo, Capture One, DXO PhotoLab and Affinity Photo handle RAW files, but I wasn't considering them as dedicated retouching programs. I was comparing Aperty RAW capabilities to other retouching programs like Retouch4me Arams, Evoto, and Portrait Pro. Sorry about the misunderstanding.
I apologize if it seemed like I was speaking to you in a condescending way; that was not my intention. It can be challenging for me to cater to both beginner photographers and those with more experience who watch my videos. Therefore, I try to include fundamental concepts as well.

@@TomCheswick OK. If you like the app's interface, Luminar Neo might be more appealing for mainstream landscape and portrait photographers not willing to use PhotoShop.
