We are in the process of getting a hot tent....we can’t wait to extend our camping / backcountry experience ....you had tons of dry wood around you and was quite a hike to get that spot....looks amazing though!
It was good hike in good thing I had the sled it made life easier. My set up worked pretty good and it cost less then 200$ for the tent and wood stove. I bet you guys will enjoy hot tent camping

I got the same little cook set. Use it all four seasons hiking and camping. My propane bottle and stove fit inside. I make two cups of cowboy coffee with the bottom and use the top as my cup. I boil water for a Mountainhouse meal or instant mash potato pack. Hot tenting in snow is fun. Did you modify that teepee yourself? Nice video, peaceful
It’s good little set, I had it for many years now. The tent didn’t come with anything for the stove. I had to get peace of welders blanket, and glue some Velcro on it. Welders blanket works very well it has very high heat resistance

The weather was pretty crazy that night. I don’t think anything will cross the lake lol. I was pretty closed where I camped in the summer. Maybe 10 Km away

why no liner? Always have a tent liner, makes life so much easier.

What was your sleeping system?
I use thermal o rest plus sleeping pad, -18 Teton sleeping back. I use Teton compact pillow and I had thermal tarp under my sleeping pad
