- This year I've been filling the weekly spreads in my planner with new drawings each week while looking for visual inspiration in art, life, and in the planner itself (this part will make more sense when you watch).

Beautiful! But may I ask why you choose to draw in a hobonichi? I kinda want to do it too now 😅
Thank you! This is my second year of using the Weeks - I didn’t use the weekly spreads as much as I thought I would for planning but I really like the rest of the planner format, the dimensions, and paper. So I thought I’d try weekly drawings instead and have been enjoying it! I do use the rest of it as a planner/journal.

Drawing over a space that’s meant for writing also feels less precious or maybe less intimidating to me than a blank sketchbook page!
@@caitlin_keegan ah ok I see. In my sketchbook I started creating smaller boxes to sketch in because a full blank page is intimidating! But I may do the same in my planner too. I have a planner that has a lot of blank weeks and when I look back at them.. it’s sad to look at 😂 Good idea 👍🏼 😊
