There are tutorials on TH-cam, but as I can best describe it - Build a corner cliff and then use water scraping next to that corner on both sides, that way you can plant the tree like a square away from that corner and then knock them down. I think because water can go right next to a cliff, the game treats that space as being open for trees or something. If you accidentally clear away all the cliffs surrounding the tree, you can actually use the “clean up” feature on your Nook Phone to recycle the tree. I have no idea how Bois makes the process seem so easy when it’s really not. Ha ha ha ha.
