I’ve been vegan for about 20 years and have no health issues. I even just had complete blood work done. Everything is perfect. But everyone is different.
That’s amazing!! I’m happy for you. Yes everyone is different I’m not sure how long I’ll want to stay vegan but I hope I can end up like you if i decide to continue for that long congrats 🙌🏽
Just for the record, most people are deficient in various vitamins and minerals. People on vegan diets who eat a variety of foods usually don’t have any deficiencies except for B12 and or vitamin D. Those two seem to go hand-in-hand. But there are plenty of people who eat meat who are deficient in B12. When I ate meat, I was deficient in B12, enough that I had to be prescribed shots that I had to take every single week, along with vitamin D gel capsules. Now that I am a vegan, and I supplement with B12, mainly in the form of nutritional yeast on my food, I don’t have a deficiency at all. I try to eat a rainbow on every plate if I can, and vary my nutrients that way. I don’t even take a multivitamin. Also, because I am trans I get labs drawn at least once every single year. I get a full panel done to check all of my levels on everything and being vegan, I haven’t had any deficiencies. Neither has my fiancée who is also vegan. She had vitamin D deficiency before going vegan, but now that she is eating more fortified foods in the form of almond milk or different types of cereal etc, she doesn’t have a problem. I think you would be able to get rid of the supplements if you varied your diet more. I totally understand, not wanting to put a lot of thought and effort into food. I get like that often. I also understand it can be difficult living in a tiny space to do that. I just don’t think it is a fair statement to make that you have to supplement because you are vegan. I even got my mother to go plant based almost 20 years ago and every time she gets labs done everything looks really good. She is in her later 60s and isn’t on any kind of medication for anything. No diabetes medications or heart medication’s or blood pressure medication’s…literally nothing. And it’s not genetics because my family has literally everything under the sun that can go wrong. From heart problems to cancer and diabetes. My dad is literally dying from heart failure, but he eats a very meat heavy diet and a lot of processed foods. I am glad to see that you are able to keep up with your vegan diet even with the smaller space. That smoothie looked good. I haven’t tried the Vega protein. I might try that for days I am lifting. Nice vid otherwise. I always like seeing Cheddar. ❤
No you’re so right! You don’t HAVE to eat vitamins if you’re vegan I’m just not super good at fitting in all the nutrients into my diet. That’s amazing it’s working out for your mom & I’m so sorry about your dad! 😩 yess i recommend the protein powder for sure it’s so tasty. I try and make do with my small space thank you so much and I’m glad you enjoyed it 😌
I've read that caffeinated drinks like coffee, tea and sodas can stop the absorption of vitamins in the body and to drink orange juice which helps absorb into the body especially vitamin c.
I'm not vegetarian but i just put Samosa on my shopping list!!! I had never heard of that so I looked it up and it sounds delicious so I've added it to my list. You are very interesting and I enjoy your content! Hi Cheddar! Haven't seen your puppy, did you find a permanent home for him? Take care see ya in your next video Stay happy!
Oh my goodness! Every time I see you eat Samosas, I too have to eat Samosas lol. I make a huge batch of them from scratch and freeze that way I can have them whenever.
That's so cool! I was planning on commenting that I tried samosas for the first time a few months ago because he made them look so good. I got frozen ones and haven't gotten them again since, but now I want to. So, Elijah, you've influenced at least two of us to crave them! 😊

I discovered a TH-cam channel called PlantWhys recently. She shows how to make Vegan foods with items she bought at Dollar Stores. She has lots of low budget Vegan ideas and recipes that are super simple to put together.
