Good morning! The first day of a little freedom in western PA! I live a few miles south of Pittsburgh and I have a GC1710 TLB with almost 250 hours, I can trade lots of stories with you. In short this thing is a beast and will last my lifetime. I have several implements and can help with the issues you raised. The easy one is the seat. My daughter bought me those seat beads you can get for cars for Father’s Day 2 years ago and they are great, they give comfort and prevent swamp ..... I was going to buy a new seat too and after that never thought about it again. The other issue is the bumper. I have the same plow, a snowblower, and rotary broom for the front. If you have a little metal working ability, I have an easy fix. I chamfered the bolt holes in the bumper and bought new, proper grade, flathead, cone shaped bolts. Then made two bars into 3/4” standoffs to put between the bumper and the tractor frame. The stand-off gives you room for the easy mount top lip and the flat head bolts don’t create interference so it will lay flat. The extra distance also keeps the hood from hitting the bumper when open, that was just luck. This way, you mount the easy mount to the bumper.....seems to be working for me so far. Just make sure you buy bolts of the proper grade or better, as they become very important now since the easy mount isn’t right on the tractor frame. You got a good deal on the wee Massey Ferguson GC 1705 You just do not know it,give her sometime & it will come to You. I bought a M-F 1526 new in 2018 & the 1 thing I liked about her was the lift height to load stuff into my 1 ton dump truck so far it has been a great tractor. I also have 1959 M-F 50 that I use to skid logs with as well grade our road & during late fall I hook the log spliter to split wood & I use the newer M-F 1526 for snow removal.I also bought this tractor to work with my dump truck. thanks for the video & I do want to see the stump grinder in action.

I have a 2015 Massey Ferguson GC1720TLB. Great tractor, I have used it like crazy. Mine is a 25 horse diesel. I haven't had any problem with the mower blades. I get mine from my dealer in East Liverpool Ohio. I pay around 80 for all 3 blades. Only have changed them once. I have them sharpened each year. I live in PA real close to the WV border and Ohio. Not sure what part of western PA you are in though.
Sorry, one more thing. A set of plastic car ramps could help you get the height you need to dump over the side of your truck. I use them when dumping gravel behind a new wall that is too tall.
I drive mine through a 5 ft gate, they will fit with a 4 foot gate but super tight and the turn signal rear lights must be modded and moved into the frame of ROPS. I have a GC1725M and love it!

same here I have had the same blades for 3 years, I mow 10 acres 1-2 times a week for 8 months out of the year.

Could you drive this through a gate to enter someone’s fenced in backyard or is it too wide
