211UKRjump there are different styles of dance lol how do I find you on every Mykayla video bashing her? Are you an avid hater of Mykayla? Yet you probably can’t even do a cartwheel LMAOO have a seat
@@brodypenn Since when? Sae started doing a third pass double double in 2015, Skinner is doing it here in 2013. You from an alternate timeline or something??????
I totally agree. NBC made such a bad choice in that. This is the best floor routine in this competition i think and she had almost every landing succesfull!!! Stupid NBC
I think they wanted to keep the image that Simone was the “best” floor worker in the Us or the world (back in 2013)which with this routine she obviously wasn’t from a difficulty standpoint (she now is)z
damn you all are hating on her. she is a good gymnast but all you go in is artistry. NEWSFLASH aly raisman never had artistry and she won the gold on floor in the olympics so shut it.
Frankie Wahl she did a double-fucking-double STRAIGHT and stuck it!!! if that's not beautiful art, there's something wrong here :P plus, she is putting her effort into dancing and enjoying it, and that's all you could ever ask for. it's not fair to judge women for not being graceful, because not all women are graceful and traditionally "feminine" or are built to be like such. she has artistry but nobody sees it because she's not long and thin, but short and thick with muscle! i think the real gymnasts who don't have artistry are the ones who just don't try and enjoy dancing, and she definitely does both :)
probably the best Moors ever. Honestly it should've been named after Skinner. unfortunately she didn't perform it first at a WC or Olympics, cuz she was performing it even before Victoria Moors.
I'm amazed by this and shocked that they failed to broadcast this routine both nights of competition. Would have been interesting to hear the commentators.
Ya but she hasn't competed them yet..Training new skills and regularly competing them are two different things...even though the elites in american only compete like 3 times if that...
I never appreciated the fact that she would just chuck skills inconsistently but this was very impressive! Well done Mykayla! Now just to work on your dance skills then you can blow everyone's floor scores apart! :)
Ok maybe her execution needs to improve but her difficulty is amazing and it shows how daring she is so stop criticizing her because she is doing thing none of you can even think of doing
with all respect. I can do what she does. every tumbeling skill in her exercise. I have a lot of respect for this atlethe. What she does in terms of difficulty is unmatched in womans gymnastics. But besides of difficulty, there is this one little thing called execution... If the execution in an exercise is not good (compared to the best), people will notice and will place comments about it. You can't say that is wrong to do so.
MrJST94 so u can do all those elements in a routine back to back on a floor in front of hundreds of people and the national coordinator and stick most of the tumbling if u could do that(I'm sure u can't since ur not on the national team)
+Bryce Holley i could but thats not the point she needs alot of workd thats all one thing tim says all the time is her routines are a little too hard for her she needs to stop showing off and do what is comfortable for her
Well a skill has to be submitted and competed at a Worlds or Olympics or sanctioned FIG World Cup event to get it named for you. The DDLO is called "The Moors" now. Today Canada's Victoria Moors became the first woman to land it at the World Championship! :)
The double double layout is almost tucked. It's kind of dangerous because if it gets devalued, its the same skill as her 3rd pass. She would basically lose the skill; huge hit to her start value.
Wow - stuck landings tonight. Routine has potential! And interesting that the routine scores higher when she holds back on difficulty :) Hope she stays healthy and can clean up form. And hope she gets to compete this internationally.
Execution is horrendous!!!! She has great difficulty but it seems that she is only making these skills around by the skin of her teeth! She needs to work on her form and artistry and perhaps tone down the difficulty just a tad to focus on those other points bc the skills aren't necessary. (And I dont want to hear," well, you can't do what she does", bc as a matter of fact, I can, and have been in the elite gymnastics world since 1998)
I completely agree. Although I love the difficulty of her tumbling, her spins and leaps make me cringe, since they look rarely completed, or executed properly. Just recently, in Jesolo, she wisely took out that double arabian, and switched it with a full twisting double back. She's improved a bit, and she moved her double double as her second pass rather than her third. But, what I always see is her lack of stamina and endurance. Even in Jesolo, she looked incredibly tired at the very end of the routine, and it worries me that she's exerting herself too much, because of the difficulty.
Why did they NOT show this on NBC? They could have totally interviewed Aly and Gabby and played Laurie Hernandez's floor during the warmup. Oh well. At least USAG knows how to do it.
is this girl the one with the most difficult tumbling passes in the world? H (I?) + E+A(+0.1) + H + C+D(+0.1?) never saw that much difficulty in the tumbling passes in one exercise loll
I wish she would get some new coaching. All I can do is cringe when I watch her. She has the talent and drive, but why are her coaches allowing her to throw tricks (on all apparatus) that she cannot execute well? Most importantly, it's dangerous (i.e. her super-dangerous one-handed Cheng on vault) and she will end up seriously injured at some point. Secondly, Marta will never put her on a World or Olympic team because Marta knows that what wins medals is execution and consistency. That Mykayla's coaches do not see this absolutely baffles me and makes me sad for Mykayla.
:O hace un doble extendido con giro, una doble japonesa, un doble con doble y termina con 2 giros y medio :O Es de los ejercicios con mas dificultad que he visto :O
If you think this routine is comparable to a Victoria Moors floor routine, you're wrong. Victoria Moors is world class on floor, MyKayla just chucks huge skills with bad form, bad choreo, and bad music. There's potential, but right now definitely not.
The double arabian is considered a forward tumbling element, so that's where she gets that requirement from - lots of gymnasts use it as their forward element (for instance, Raisman and I believe Mustafina as well).
When I commented on that, I guess i'd forgotten she even did a double arabian. I knew at one point that a double arabian counts as a forward element. Anyway, thanks for the heads up. :)
No problem! It's weird as it's a backwards entry but because the momentum is forward I guess the FIG decided it should be a forward skill, similar to the Onodi. :)
She didn't she was 3rd behind McKayla and Simone!! As you can only put 3 people up per event that team wont work coz Kyla and Simone would be doing AA And McKayla is better than Mykayla on floor so would be put up!!
I like this routine, I enjoy her tumbling passes here idk why she does that stupid q and a half to a 2 and a half why does she do the Arabian bouble as her 3rd pass and her full in to finish... And why doesnt she do the L double trip anymore her squat double isn't pretty......
Eesh. The tumbling was good, but the dance, music, and the choreography were horrid. She needs a ballet class now, because right now that's not a world class floor routine by any stretch of the imagination.
0:22 even Sam Mikulak was shook
omg i rlly think this is my favorite floor routine from her ever tbh!!
and scored the better
I think this is the most artistic she's ever looked...maybe she can find similar music for 2016!
This will never be artistic... sorry
211UKRjump there are different styles of dance lol how do I find you on every Mykayla video bashing her? Are you an avid hater of Mykayla? Yet you probably can’t even do a cartwheel LMAOO have a seat
man..third tumbling pass is double double. how in the earth she got all the energy from?
@@brodypenn Since when? Sae started doing a third pass double double in 2015, Skinner is doing it here in 2013. You from an alternate timeline or something??????
It took her eight years, but she finally made it to the Olympics… and is now a vault silver medalist!!
I'm still miffed at how NBC ignored this routine and couldn't just wait until the next warmup to interview Jordyn Wieber.
I totally agree. NBC made such a bad choice in that. This is the best floor routine in this competition i think and she had almost every landing succesfull!!! Stupid NBC
Braden Mills yeah this was like THE highlight of the competition! McKayla Skinner. Still a BEAST on floor
SERIOUSLY
Brian Patterson I actually agree. When she hit, she was spectacular and often underscored.
I think they wanted to keep the image that Simone was the “best” floor worker in the Us or the world (back in 2013)which with this routine she obviously wasn’t from a difficulty standpoint (she now is)z
Those tumbles we're out of this world! She's ahead of her time. Hope she keeps it together.
The dance here is more pleasant than the one at Worlds 2014
damn you all are hating on her. she is a good gymnast but all you go in is artistry. NEWSFLASH aly raisman never had artistry and she won the gold on floor in the olympics so shut it.
I don't really think that justifies that she doesn't have any artistry. Sorry.
Frankie Wahl she did a double-fucking-double STRAIGHT and stuck it!!! if that's not beautiful art, there's something wrong here :P

♥ ѕосіоратн ♥ it wasn't straight...
Andrea Grey More straight than the gymnast who is named after... Victoria Moors did hers piked pretty much
Jocelyn Marie This Moors was even better than Moors ever performed it. this was in laid out position like its supposed to be for the most part
probably the best Moors ever. Honestly it should've been named after Skinner. unfortunately she didn't perform it first at a WC or Olympics, cuz she was performing it even before Victoria Moors.
So impressive! Loved the gymnastics and loved that she was so enjoying herself. Routine of a lifetime.
She needs to bring this back in 2021!!!
this girls SHINES during her floor routine, unlike a lot of gymnasts. way to go Mykayla!!!!
I'm not saying I could do better, but her flexibility needs to improve
Olympic Silver Medalist right there !
Way to hit, Skinner! I really wish this was televised.
Mykayla needs to go to World Championships..shes really talended !!!
well deserved score! unbelievable routine!
15.000!!!!!!! impressive
0:33, I feel like the only reason she paused before her leap is to show the audience she knows how to stick a landing on a forward tumble
They said all the same mean things about Raisman and she won 2 Olympic Golds. Skinner will be the dark horse of the American squad
She's a really powerful runner!
Really a joy to watch! She has an Izbasa sorta feel to her gymnastics.
I'm amazed by this and shocked that they failed to broadcast this routine both nights of competition. Would have been interesting to hear the commentators.
she keeps chucking these crazy skills....i fear a serious injury in her future.
The only new skill is her Layout Double Double...
***** And a quad double...
Ya but she hasn't competed them yet..Training new skills and regularly competing them are two different things...even though the elites in american only compete like 3 times if that...
& she's still going in Utah.
+Ronan A quad double..... u mean a double double? She does no quad here. That'd be 4 complete revolutions lol.
I never appreciated the fact that she would just chuck skills inconsistently but this was very impressive! Well done Mykayla! Now just to work on your dance skills then you can blow everyone's floor scores apart! :)
I kinda wish she would bring back the Arabian double front
Ok maybe her execution needs to improve but her difficulty is amazing and it shows how daring she is so stop criticizing her because she is doing thing none of you can even think of doing

***** There you go!!! FINALLY!! Something different!!!! Yaaaaaayyyyyyyy!!!!!! Its been done!!!!
Good good....its very healthy to laugh. (Or "chuckle" in your case.) Its good for the soul.
Hopefully she goes to worlds and performs the double double layout!
was her first pass a double double layout??
Yup.
More like a double double tuck
+Kathryn Parker she was not tucked at all was not the best form but she was stretched
She is soo good
I can't believe this wasn't televised!!!
Hot, damn!!! So happy to see her do well. Love the energy and presentation in this routine. And that first pass was one of the bests ever!

Jonathan Horton's watching this as well. On the sidelines at 1:18.

Love that she used the "MOORS" as her first tumbling pass.
:O hace un doble extendido con giro, una doble japonesa, un doble con doble y termina con 2 giros y medio :O Es de los ejercicios con mas dificultad que he visto :O
I still can't believe she's doing a double/double for her 3rd pass!!!
If you think this routine is comparable to a Victoria Moors floor routine, you're wrong. Victoria Moors is world class on floor, MyKayla just chucks huge skills with bad form, bad choreo, and bad music. There's potential, but right now definitely not.
Can't work :( You can only have 3 gymnasts on each apparatus.
Mykayla was the first women to compete that skill whether or not it got named after her.
Just realized she doesn't do any front tumbling or even a front aerial.
The double arabian is considered a forward tumbling element, so that's where she gets that requirement from - lots of gymnasts use it as their forward element (for instance, Raisman and I believe Mustafina as well).

Marc doesn't mean all of them on floor. He's just picking the whole team he hopes the USA will send.
I think I agree. :)
more powerful than most male gymnasts her age... just needs to work on form and she's a complete gymnast. Love this routine and the music
thats what i wanna be when i grow up
the six people that disliked this must've neverseen real gymnastics!
nice!!! but please CHANGE THE MUSIC!!!
I like her on floor, but she just seems a little robot ish to me. I do know for a fact that I hate her bars and beam tho
She won Bronze. McKayla and Simone were ahead of her.
That was more than a 15 :/
She didn't she was 3rd behind McKayla and Simone!! As you can only put 3 people up per event that team wont work coz Kyla and Simone would be doing AA And McKayla is better than Mykayla on floor so would be put up!!
Moores is more lovely unfortunately she cant stick a pass to save her life
I can't understand how she never managed to qualify for an Olympiad
She just got a silver at Tokyo!
@@brodypenn porque a Simone desistiu
Don't get me wrong I love this routine of Mykayla but I much prefer Louise Mccolgans version of routine to this music
mckayla tumbling is better tho...
from a line up perspective, that team doesn't make a lot of sense
nice!
The way she puts her hands down after she lands looks so horrible.
WOW
Except her double DLO is 10000x more impressive than izbasas
Cuteeeee :)
I like this routine, I enjoy her tumbling passes here idk why she does that stupid q and a half to a 2 and a half why does she do the Arabian bouble as her 3rd pass and her full in to finish... And why doesnt she do the L double trip anymore her squat double isn't pretty......
maybe because she prefers it
Actually Mykayla was the first female gymnast to do that skill and compete it, not Victoria
Worst floor routine I've ever seen what's with the music??
Tumbling
The worst form I’ve ever seen from a gymnast... next to Chellsie Memmel’s 2008 leaps and Aly Raisman’s leaps ever since she became a senior
Eesh. The tumbling was good, but the dance, music, and the choreography were horrid. She needs a ballet class now, because right now that's not a world class floor routine by any stretch of the imagination.
